Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Malawi

The property is pristine, located right next to Lake Malawi and the staff were extremely helpful with the cooking, cleaning and management of our visit. A few power disruptions were mitigated by the back-up system but the stay was overall flawless. The owner must be an audiophile given the quality of surround sound installed in the house and also by the beautiful poolside.

We enjoyed staying at Hope's place so much, that we booked it for a second time. His place is amazing. I highly recommend staying there. we will surely book it again the next time we are in Lilongwe. thank you Hope!

Couldn’t have chosen a better. place. Apartment was beautiful and equipped with everything I needed (and lots of lovely touches / local design). Was welcomed by Rachael Edgar and her lovely boys. We had a wonderful stay as we came up from the weekend during our medical rotation. The place was beautiful and was a relaxing getaway. The staff was very welcoming and ensured that our stay was as comfortable it could be. Definitely recommend!

A perfect home away from home! With a lovely pool and great garden and hot water and a huge generator to sort out the regular powercuts.

Lovely new building. Furnishings are lovely. Some finer details need to be worked on, but overall a very nice unit. I believe this is a newer area and therefore the distance, lack of presence of other community members, and unstable wifi left my family in the need for a different rental. The owner, and what seemed to be the management team, went above and beyond to accommodate our many very last minute requests.

The hosts were very welcoming - very attentive and helpful and made sure I had everything I needed. The apartment was well equipped with modern amenities and the hosts had even left some treats to enjoy! The apartment is a great place to stay in Chipata - quiet and peaceful, out of the main hustle and bustle of the town. I was there for work and it was the ideal place to stay. Cleaning staff are friendly and there is good security with guards on both day and night. I would highly recommend this apartment as an alternative to a lodge especially if you like to prepare your own meals and have flexibility. I look forward to going back in the future!

This apartment is exactly as advertised and a great value for Lilongwe. It's in a great neighborhood and has a nice little garden. Fiona went above and beyond with hospitality and communication.

I have nothing but praise for Michael and the accommodation at Wines & Wings. Even though the accommodation is adjacent to their wine shop and tour guide agency, I always felt very comfortable and totally undisturbed by the activities. The room is an open plan with a fully fitted kitchen and a living room area (with TV) and was always kept cleaned. Same for the bathroom. The room opened out to a generous terrace overlooking a tranquil garden. Michael was out of town, but very responsive. Nevertheless the staff at Wines & Wings were super, very well organized and extremely friendly. I highly recommend Wine & Wings and will certainly stay there again next time I pass through Lilongwe.

Modern apartments in a calm oasis with everything you need. Lovely pool area. Everything was super easy, Roland and Clara are really welcoming and kind hosts.

This is an excellent option for a family vacation or business trip. The house offers all necessary amenities. It's quite, secure, and clean space. I would love to stay here again. The host was excellent and very flexible.

The pool area is beautiful, and the space is comfortable and decorated in a really stylish fashion. Jam was really responsive for anything we needed. We enjoyed our stay!
