The views are wonderful; it's a great spot to unwind & stare out to the ocean while reading a book & sipping a glass of wine. Would be lovely in summer. It was really chilly for our visit but that didn't diminish our enjoyment & there are plenty of blankets, doonas & heaters to keep one snug. One also couldn't find a better view whilst cooking! Pam was a lovely, friendly host & there were some extra welcoming touches that were much appreciated. Would definitely stay again!

stayed over Easter, was a great stay, very comfortable and had everything you needed, and extra that we didn't even though of ourselves. close to shops where you can get everything else. walkable to 3 different cellar doors and only 15 minutes drive to Pokolbin. would definitely stay again when I head up to Hunter valley.

We arrived after dark so it was a bit of a struggle getting in since we’re not familiar with the gates, but it turned out fine. The home was really cosy with a comfy bed and sofa, plus a TV that had Netflix and Youtube. Only con is the bathroom not being sound proofed as the walls don’t reach the ceiling. :( Other than that, a really comfortable stay with Richard in a quiet nice neighbourhood. Would recommend for couples or a pair of friends!

Is this the best Airbnb in Australia? Quite possibly - Pam and Kevin are excellent hosts, the apartment is clean, comfortable and private with plenty of space, and perfectly located for the beach, and a short taxi ride from all of town. We had a great weekend stay at Neale and Sue's. The place was clean and tidy and in a good location. Neale and Sue were very communicative and amazing hosts - our car got bogged due to extreme weather and they jumped in to help us without any hesitation.
