Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Lugano

The accommodation is beautiful - the fantastic view is the absolute highlight. The rooms are super divided & the house is very charming. Would book again immediately! Only the parking situation is a bit difficult. It's not easy to find a parking spot.

We spent two wonderful days in Olga's beautiful house. Everything was even more beautiful than described. They took great care of us. Everything was explained to us in great detail. And during our stay, Olga wrote to us every day and asked if everything was okay and if we needed anything. Their hospitality was really outstanding. I highly recommend this house to anyone. We were very pleased.

Clean and tidy apartment, quiet and convenient area to get to Lecco and Bellagio, the host was available for some questions, there were 2 of us but 4 people can stay comfortably.

I immediately felt very comfortable in the small, lovingly furnished cottage. The location, surrounded by nature, is particularly noteworthy and the enchanted garden is perfect for relaxing. Barbara provided me with all the necessary information in advance and was always available for questions.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and inviting. The water pressure and hot water were excellent, and the bed was super comfy. The views were absolutely amazing and made our mornings and evenings extra special. The location was perfect, just a short, easy drive into central Menaggio. Riccardo was an incredibly friendly and responsive host, which made everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Beautiful surroundings and well-worth the walk into town (there’s a very easy/safe path from this property into town - just expect to get some good exercise walking back up).

The apartment is located in Aldesago, very close to the Lugano city and with breathtaking view on the lake - the area is really well commuted (bus no. 12 or funicular). Inside you have everything you need - nicely equipped kitchen, superclean bathroom and very comfortable beds! The view from terrace is truly stunning! It was also so nice to be able using swimming pool belonging to the facility! Although we’ve been already in Lugano few times before, I think, this staying was the best one ;) P.S. the owners are angels 😇

We absolutely loved our stay at Andrea’s place! It exceeded our expectations. Andrea was very responsive, helping us to navigate the area and European appliances :-)! We would love to stay again as our family had an amazing time!

Really comfortable space with beautiful scenery.

Alessandra was absolutely amazing, not only while we were there, but leading up to our stay. It felt like we made a friend in Italy. She was friendly, communicative, and helpful! The airline lost our bags and she kept checking in to see if we had an update. She truly went above and beyond! The Airbnb was so clean and welcoming! Right across the street from Lake Como! Beautiful area! Would recommend to anyone!

beautiful location. i prefer varnessa to belagio. flat is just the right size for a couple. if there's anything I want to mention is that it's in a much higher location than I expected. one would definitely need a car for more frequent visit to the town below. the host is so friendly and always available and responsive.

Spectacular scenery and beautifully designed property

Really attractive home with a great pool and pleasant garden, just out of town definitely need a car to explore the local area, which we did. Enjoyed the restaurants in Laveno. Monica is a great host and lovely and friendly. Highly recommended!

We had a great time with friends at Mattia's, who is a very welcoming, friendly and responsive host. The views from the balcony are just amazing. You feel very good in this cozy apartment located in a typical little village. Before our arrival, I received all the practical tips so that we could park, eat, shop, hike, etc. Those few days spent at Mattia's were a real change of scenery and a real disconnection. Thank you Mattia for hosting us. It's my pleasure to come back.

Fantastic! Even nicer than in the pictures! Incredible view of the lake, a very nice private garden, a clean beautiful apartment with everything you need! Paola is very hospitable and tries to do everything. We were particularly pleased with the breakfast and the delicious cakes. We had a very nice, albeit short, time here. A clear recommendation! Andreas is really a super host: very friendly and accommodating, we were even allowed to use his garage space. Communication was extremely straightforward and everything was well described. The location of the historic house is unique: unique views of Lake Maggiore and the mountains as well as the wonderful garden and the super equipped loggia in front of the apartment invite you to linger. The village shop can be reached on foot in 5 minutes and is equipped with the most important for everyday needs. The apartment is very tasteful but also practically furnished. Everything is there (even coffee!), the bed is very comfortable, and the view from the bedroom is unique. It was still a little cold during our stay, but we were able to heat the rooms well. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at Cà la Rocca and can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Terrazza sur lago surpassed expectations! We chose to come in from Lugano by Uber (a new service just offered in 2025), from there you do have some stairs to negotiate to the beautiful apartment. However, another option is to take a scenic ferry ride from Lugano to Gandria if you have time and want fewer stairs. Once you arrive, you will find the sparkling clean apartment better than the photos. The kitchen is spacious and very well fit out. A nice dining table provides great views of Lago Lugano. Two spacious bedrooms, both offer great lake views, one with a walk-out to a large patio area, with table, chairs, umbrella and comfy furniture for kicking back. We ate every breakfast out there taking in the lake. A quick 10 minute Uber ride puts you in Lugano - tons of restaurants, shopping and nite life. It’s also a 10 minute drive to the funicular for Mounte Bré (great views and hikes). In town - try the Olive Trail hike in Gandria or take a ferry tour of the lake. Bellissimo!

Our stay was great. The apartment has an incredible view, it's exactly as in the photos and the host always responded quickly. I highly recommend it!

Home away from home, the apartment has all you need, complimentary daily cleaning, brilliant optional breakfast and a lot of lovely design details and personal touches. The only unfortunate and disturbing thing was a squeeky bed which kept waking us. We had a great time and definitely reccomend the guesthouse 🙂

The bed was cozy, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the overall atmosphere made us feel right at home. One of the best parts was the location—just steps away from the ferry terminal, which made exploring the area incredibly easy and stress-free. Daniela, the host, was absolutely wonderful. She was warm, friendly, and very responsive to any questions I had. She even allowed me to check in early, which was a huge help and really set the tone for a relaxing stay. Her hospitality made the whole experience even better. I would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area, and I’m already looking forward to staying here again in the future!
