Vacation rentals with lake access in Lake Kawaguchi

My husband and I spent 4 nights at this B&B and it was absolutely incredible. The hosts were very responsive if we needed anything and gave clear instructions. They also stopped by on our last day to make sure everything was okay and brought us breakfast given it was an extremely snowy evening the night before. The B&B was exactly as it was in the pictures and was a really comfortable experience. The plus was that you could see Mt. Fuji right from the front porch on a clear day. The bus stop is right in front of the B&B so we didn’t have to drag our luggage too far. The neighbourhood was very peaceful with some great restaurants and konbinis located within a 15-20 minute walk from it. Would definitely love to go back and stay there again.

The wooden floor has an echo.Insufficient hangers.

There are 2 toilets, 1 bathroom, the place is clean but the floor is very thin and the sound of our group walking upstairs will be heard clearly downstairs. And the road is narrow and we can drive an SUV, but be careful and drive slowly.The driver said the road was a bit hard to drive and was scared of scratching the body. Fuji with a clear view!The room and living room saw the big Fuji, and it was a good stay.

A beautiful house with a stunning view of Fuji-san. 10 mins walk to Oshino Hakkai. As long as you’re okay with using a public onsen for washing, this place is great

My family like the place. The surrounding is peaceful. Amenities are as per description and he even provided free toiletries (toothbrush etc). House very clean and insulation is good. Really helpful during winter. Mattress is comfy too. Managed to get clear view of Mount Fuji on the road near to the house. Thanks for having us.

Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful kawaguchiko apartment. Place was exactly as described and in prestige condition. Close to all Mt. Fuji hot spots and a feel safe neighborhood. Definitely would stay again and recommend to family and friends.

Very helpful host , the house would be a bit hard to find at night but once you find it, you feel right at home , very friendly and responsive host that will help you with anything you need

Geat accomodation with a wonderful host (that also offered to pick us up from the main station). The room was spacious and also had a view of Mount Fuji <3

I had a lovely night at this Airbnb near Kawaguchiko station. The highlight of the stay was the warm hospitality—Mr. Aji, the host’s father, personally welcomed us at Kawaguchiko Station and kindly dropped us off the next morning after check-out. He was incredibly friendly and provided detailed check-in instructions, along with great local recommendations for places to visit. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. A special bonus was the beautiful back view of Mount Fuji—absolutely breathtaking! The Airbnb also offers free bicycles and e-bikes for a small fee, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Mt Fuji

I’m very grateful for the Host’s hospitality! As a photographer, I need to be at places for sunrise and the public transportation system isn’t the best. So what did the Host do? He let me use his electric bike to get around the city and lakes and it was a HUGE help! What would take me an hour and a half via bus/train took me around 30-35 minutes max to arrive. He went above and beyond to make use my stay was satisfying.

You get a partial view of Mt Fuji, the apartment is nice and cozy with an elegant Japanese touch

Everything here was amazing. - The drive here from Tokyo was incredible scenic - The walkable distance from the location to amazing views of Fuji and restaurants - The hosts were also amazing at giving recommendations of nearby scenic places I can visit.

This place was perfect for our travels, has everything we needed and more. The location is incredible, the local town has lots of shops and restaurants and an incredible view of Fuji while also feeling quiet and serene, I’d highly recommend! The hosts helped us with any questions we had on buses and trains so we were well connected to travelling to other areas nearby.

Our family of 8 spent a very unforgettable day in this very Japanese and innovative house... we were deeply attracted to the house as soon as we entered... we arrived a little late... but the owner still received us very warmly... and reminded us to be careful on the way... because it snowed at Yamanakako that day... our family's first experience with snow was here... we were really mesmerized by the beautiful snowy scenery... although we couldn't see Mt. Fuji, we still got a veryBeautiful snowy scenery... all the internet-famous check-in spots near Lake Yamanakako are very close... but this time we didn't have the chance to see the beautiful Mt. Fuji... I hope to have the chance to come to this house again in the future... and then enjoy the different scenery of Mt. Fuji... I highly recommend everyone to stay in this cozy and comfortable homestay... there will be a next time only if there is regret...

Key and Marino are warmhearted. Guesthouse is amazing. The interior is clean. It’s the best choice if you come to Yamanakako！

It was nice to only have to prepare the ingredients for the BBQ, and the price was also reasonable.

The owner's English is very good, communication is very smooth, and he also recommended nearby tourist attractions to us. The room is very Japanese-style, it's a whole new experience.

My family and I had a great time at the cottage! It was very cozy and had everything we needed. Our young son had a great time playing in the snow and staying warm by the fire. We also got to see lovely views of Mt. Fuji on our drive to the cottage.
