As soon as I arrived to the house I knew i made the perfect decision choosing Candice’s listing. House was beautiful and very modern. The view was even better than I thought in person. Candice was a great host as well which made it the perfect experience.

We had a few families go in together on the house. We went tubing at Shawnee and had group dinner at the house. We enjoyed the hot tub and stared at the frozen, snow covered lake. It was a great weekend and a good place to hunker down for the weekend.

Very responsive and understanding hosts - fixed any issues or dealt with any questions in a timely way. Our family had a beautiful time! Loved the hot tub and sauna.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the property! The house itself was stunning with beautiful, thoughtful touches that made it feel so cozy. Sam was great and super responsive! Anytime I had a question or needed assistance, he got back to me right away, ensuring that my stay was stress-free. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Great place to get away with family and start traditions! Beds are comfortable, very clean, outside is perfect, and the wildlife come right up to you. Only thing was the TV didn’t connect to the wifi, other people in our family brought a firestick so it worked out. Beautiful home and I can’t wait to rent it again, especially in the summer! Thank you so much.

My 3 children and I stayed for a last minute spring break getaway and we couldn't have been happier with the property and hosts! Check in was seamless. The hosts were super communicative and helpful. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances seasonings and everything you could think of to make home cooked meals. My daughter was so excited to make smoothies and hot chocolate! I loved the coffee options. The beds were so comfortable! The house was clean and extremely comfortable and inviting! Our first night we had a beautiful view of the full moon from upstairs. Lots of food options and activities close by. This property was exactly like the pictures and we can't wait to return! Thank you for beautiful stay!

No nonsence house with tranquil immediate surrounding and close proximity to ski slops. Great for couple of days of mountain ski trip.

A very clean, comfortable and well equipped place! we had peaceful family time kayaking, enjoying the view of the water, and it was also cool enough to enjoy the sauna! Great wifi to also do some work calls as well. Kitchen and grills well equipped for simple enjoyable family cooking and meals. The projector TV was great for family movie night. Fire pit was beautiful for s'mores. Bathrooms w great hot water/water pressure. Beds comfortable! We would love to return. We were very happy at the home and thus we did not try any community amenities. Hosts were responsive!

The house was overall nice tucked back into a wooded community. Not too far from a lot of activities and places to see. They should consider a deeper clean/ replacing or removing old carpet from living space, there were two toasters and no microwave. There was something sprayed in the house upon arrival that did make my throat tight (not sure if it was a room spray and I have asthma) Getting into the community from the time of getting the QR code to getting to the actual house was about 14 mins. We paid a lot to even get into the community and really there should be some kind of reduced cost when all The amenities aren’t available during “off seasons” 68 dollars to just be able to drive into the community with 2 cars on top of the rental. Overall a comfortable stay and we had a nice time

This is a great house. Views of the lake was the best part. Our extended family of 10, mostly adults, stayed here for a weekend to celebrate our mom’s 80th birthday. An unexpected snowstorm, and rainy weather kept us indoors. But we spent the time eating and lounging in the house, and using the pool table in the game room(heated garage). There was an issue with the heat on the main floor on the first day, but CJ was responsive and thankfully the problem was resolved. The kitchen area was clean and spacious. Sectional in the living area was comfy but a couple of extra big chairs and a folding card/game table would’ve been nice. Would definitely come back during warmer season to take advantage of the lake and fire pit.

Looking for a quiet mountain lake retreat? Look no further. We booked for Christmas and had the best time. It snowed 6 inches upon arrival! Sunsets were stunning on the lake. The house is large enough for a big family and we loved the open plan kitchen and living room. The soaring stone fireplace made it super cozy. Even the teenagers wanted to hang out! Really comfortable couches and large family dining was so enjoyable for our holiday dinner. Kent made sure of everything you would need to spend time here. Not to mention the wildlife on the lakefront which was so nice to watch from the big windows. I felt very much at home and am already looking forward to rebooking for summertime. Thanks Kent!

Hope is an excellent host and tends to guests needs. We stayed here for a last minute weekend getaway and were blown away with how great a place it was. The home is immaculate, has everything you need sleeping, games, bathrooms etc. The home is even more spacious than the pictures led us to believe! The best part for us was all the amenities for the outside space. Fantastic fire pit with plenty of wood provided (was very nice to not have to hunt down a vendor for wood) There are multiple kayaks, paddle boards and even an easy kayak launcher. The loaded game room was a big hit with our 12 year old and we all loved fishing from the boats and dock all weekend and caught plenty of fish despite our trip being in April. Would definitely come back!.

We had such a perfect stay at Camp Chicory. I’d traveled there along with three old friends, and it was a wonderful spot to spend time in and reconnect. We had grand plans to take advantage of outdoor winter adventures in the Poconos, but when the weather was uncooperative, we were more than happy to just stay inside all day instead! The kitchen has everything you’d need for lots of cooking, with a cute mug collection to enjoy that hot chocolate bar. The shower pressure was magical, and the beds were super comfortable. Oh how we loved the eclectic record collection, and only wished we’d had time to enjoy more of it! But truly, the MVP of our weekend was the wood burning stove, which provided the perfect cozy atmosphere to enjoy quality time with friends. Moira and her team were top notch communicators, both before and during our stay — always available with a quick response to answer our questions. Believe the reviews — you won’t be disappointed. I wish I were back there right now!

Pete's home was a perfect place for our family birthday vacation weekend. House was beautiful, situated on the lake, great kitchen for cooking and fun game room area. Pete was super responsive and proactive in communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. We plan to rent again for our family vacation!

We had a wonderful stay at David’s place in Long Pond! The house was beautifully updated, very comfortable, and had plenty of space for our group—two kids under 10, and four adults (parents and grandparents). The highlight was definitely the stunning lake view with a small private beach and access to paddle boats, kayaks, canoe, and a dock—perfect for both quiet mornings and family fun. The backyard was incredibly picturesque, surrounded by beautiful foliage that made it feel like a private retreat. We really appreciated thoughtful touches like the shed stocked with life vests and beach toys, as well as the outdoor fire stove. Inside, the game room was a hit—especially the Nintendo 64 and air hockey table, which kept everyone entertained. We couldn’t have asked for a better spring break getaway. My friend and I had a great time staying here! The house is cozy, beautifully decorated, and very clean. There were so many things to do in the area and on the property—we just didn’t have enough time to experience it all. It was a great spot to relax and unwind. While everything went smoothly and there were no major issues, there's just a tiny bit of room for improvement. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Had a wonderful stay! The property is right across from the lake and the view was breathtaking! Great location to visit many of the beautiful hiking trails in the area. One of the must haves for our trip was access to a golf cart and Mamta made sure it was on the property, ready for us when we arrived. Peaceful, relaxing, Pocono, retreat!
