Excellent home for a get away. Quick access to the beach, the national park, and Chicago. Kitchen ready to cook in with groceries you can buy and keep on site.

We absolutely loved our stay at this place. The house is super cozy and more secluded than a lot in the neighborhood. The beach is a short walk. The area is super quiet and family friendly. Everything was clean and cozy, plenty of room for everyone. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate us last minute and helped us in every way they could. They even have tons of games for the kids. I would definitely stay again and recommend this place.

Had a longer duration stay for work. Very peaceful and quiet with plenty of space. It was really nice being right on the river. Felt right at home from the day we arrived.

We so enjoyed our stay! Each day we saw some deer in the backyard/neighbors yards (including a fawn!), and the house was very well equipped so we didn’t have to overpack for a weekend stay. Being able to borrow a wagon and some beach chairs was fantastic. The hosts were very responsive and kind. The only small inconvenience about the home is not all the doors latch well. Ex. The door from the master bedroom to the bathroom wouldn’t close all the way and thus couldn’t be locked, so we just wound up putting a chair in front of it and only entering from the hallway. Otherwise, it was wonderful. The location is fantastic as well! We did walk to the beach from the house - it’s very doable.

The return trip was even better than the first! We enjoyed the balcony, the woods across the street add to the relaxation. The uncrowded beach made the sunset even better

This home was super cozy for my big family. Everything was clean, comfortable, and the way it is set up makes you feel right at home. This home had everything we needed. TV’s, kitchen items, recommendations, and even fun family games and activities to do. Every time I visit the area I’ll be checking to see if it’s available. 10/10

A Lake Michigan beachfront vacation doesn't get any easier than this! An hour or less drive from Chicago, you can check into your own cottage right on the Indiana Dunes National Park and of course the expansive beach! This unique beach house has lovingly grown throughout the years. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and laundry stations for an extended family or group trip, but could also work for a smaller group or couple. We used the bar room and cozied up in the living room enjoying the view! There are multiple patios and a private path to the beach. Parking fits up to 6 cars on-site. Do not expect boring sayings on the walls or basic Ikea dishes. Instead enjoy taking in the 100’s of books on the walls, grandmother’s china now for everyday use, unique art on the walls or ponder upon the strange layout of some of the rooms.

We had a great stay here with family and friends. It was our daughter’s birthday and they surprised her with a birthday gift. The place is beautiful. So many seating options to just hang out and enjoy the lake. Late night fires, games, swimming. It was so fun. Lots of amenities inside. There wasn’t anything better that they could have done to make this weekend even better. Highly recommend.

Good alternative to staying in Chicago for a big concert in the city.

Overall a good place to stay for the night. Easy drive to Chicago and felt very private. Place was clean and honestly looked even better in person. Felt homey and comfortable.

This was my first time using Air BnB and Annie was an awesome first host! She communicated very clearly and responded in a timely manner! She even went the extra step and left a fruit pouch for my toddler, which he loved! I'll definitely be getting this place next time we go to Chicago!

It was an absolute BEAUTY of a stay. My husband and I literally booked it last minute. (1 hours before leaving) and the host immediately responded and was so friendly and kind. It’s about a two minute walk from the beach. Very quiet, the house has a lot to culture. I felt right at home, truly. Thank you Matthew !!

This beautiful home was the perfect distance we needed for our trip! If you are in the area you need to try Burrito Stop Restaurant, the best food we have had in a while with friendly staff! The area is walkable and offers many places to visit. It is a close drive to the Lake, with such beautiful scenery! The place itself is comfy, with tv, great WiFi, and tons of board games! The beds are comfy and the bathroom had great water pressure. Definitely recommend staying here!

Marlen's place was perfect for our needs. We stayed one night for the Beyoncé concert and it was perfect. The bed sheets were also spotless, which made us happy. One little downside was that you could clearly hear traffic through the bedroom windows. However, we were able to get back to sleep easily. Overall, great stay, clean home, and comfortable bed. We would stay again 🙂

I had a fantasic stay at this Airbnb! The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making our visit smooth from start to finish. We also loved and appreciated the attention to detail of having all the essentials for a perfect stay. The location was great and close to where we wanted to go, but still quiet and peaceful. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay!

Great place for a large group of people! Although it is surrounded by other homes, the trees behind the property give it a very private feel. It is a quick walk to the beach which is very convenient. All of the neighbors were very kind to our group as we walked around. We tried out the New Mexican restaurant down the street and it was delicious. This was one of Sylwia’s recommendations. She did a great job of giving us a list of things to do around the area before we arrived. There’s 2 train stations very close, which we utilized to get to Chicago. It was about an hour trip and very convenient to get the Portage/Ogden Dunes Station from the Airbnb. We were a little worried about the location considering Gary does not have the best reputation, but it was closer to Portage, and in a very safe area. We never once felt unsafe. All in all, Sylwia was great, the Airbnb was great, and I would recommend her listing!!

This was our second visit to this lakefront home. Great view, peaceful, clean and comfortable. Mary, the host, is friendly and responds quickly to messages. This is the perfect place for my sister and I to get away from the city and relax. Thanks Mary and Tim!

Perfect couples getaway. We were there in off season so nice and quiet. Great lake views. Hubby was fishing off the dock everyday and I sat on the covered back porch looking at the lake and enjoying my book. Very clean! Great grocery store a few minutes away! Strack & Van Til. Great dinner at the Lighthouse just 5 minutes away. Very nice affordable winter weekend getaway. Jent was amazing. Quick response to questions. There's a piano that's in tune that I missed in the pictures. Would have brought some sheet music.

This place is a great getaway. If your looking for a place in Miller Beach area and want to see copious amounts of varying wildlife just hanging around then this spot is just what your looking for. The host Blake is very responsive and respectful. I stayed for over a week with my dog and he didn’t want to leave. You won’t either.

Patrick’s place is a rare find. Extraordinary Airbnb! It’s the most thoughtfully supplied kitchen. We enjoyed cooking brunch looking out on the park trails. We were lucky with perfect weather, which added to the loveliness. I know the area, to me the location is perfect…especially if you like long pretty walks. We had a fantastic stay! Super close to the Lake, which is just what we wanted. House looked exactly as pictured. Most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Overall, a great experience.
