We had a wonderful stay. The location is a dream, you can get everywhere super quickly, whether on foot, by public transport or by your own car. We would book again.

We had a fantastic stay at "Margritli" and felt very welcome right away. The cottage is stylish and lovingly decorated and there is everything you need. If you make yourself comfortable on the terrace, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the gentle hilly landscape and far into the mountains. If you roam the area with your eyes open, you can even watch wild animals. So a badger, a salamander, pretty birds and countless butterflies visited us. When booking for the "Margritli", we were a little scared in advance of the high price and when we learned that the use of the iguana is still charged separately, it clouded our anticipation somewhat, which we told the hosts, whereupon they forgave us the cost of using the sauna without any hassle, and we enjoyed the soothing heat very much. They were beautiful and enchanting vacation days. Thanks a lot! Christa & Amos

2 adults and 4 children between the ages of 3 and 7. We stayed at Chalet Alpenrose for 4 days. Very nice manageable holiday village. Everything clean and great play facilities for children. Dealing with the other guests was easy and relaxed, also with the team. We would recommend the holiday village at any time.

We had a very great time here. The accommodation offers everything you need to feel comfortable and Uwe is a very nice, helpful, relaxed person and host. We especially loved the beautiful garden to rest, the sheep and chickens as neighbors and that the pond is within walking distance for swimming. The area is generally beautiful. Almost every hill offers great views and there is no shortage of green meadows, beautiful forests, lakes and sweet villages with friendly people. There's also a great starry sky at night. Excursions by public transport are feasible (we were in Lindau in just over 1 hour, for example), but the travel times are quite limited. It is better to explore the surroundings by bike, scooter or car.

What a beautiful and peaceful place. The private beach is perfect. The location is so accessible to all that you need. Cycling and swimming on the lake is fantastic. We spent 10 action packed days there! This particular part of the lake is so natural and quiet. Yet if you want access to more public bathing areas and restaurants they are easily accessible. Andreas and his partner were so friendly and helpful! We loved our holiday !

Very dear and courteous hosts. Rubén was very accessible and always responded quickly when we had a question. The Waschhüsli is very cozy, especially on the upper floor you can relax wonderfully with a book or movie. The small kitchen was great for cooking for the two of us. There is even a raclette grill available :) A big plus for comfort are also dishwasher, washing machine, iron, so we got along very well even with a 14-day stay. Each room has separate heating, which has both an air conditioning and a heating function and worked perfectly! The cottage was sparkling clean and we were greeted with vegan chocolate and fruit, great! We were there over New Year's Eve and had a wonderful time. The area around Appenzell is perfect for countless day trips into nature and the Alpstein. Highly recommended for mountain lovers in winter, as well as summer!

What a cozy beautiful temporary home. Relax in the bathtub, evening mood on the balcony or work in the cozy office area - a nice place for a break at the foot of the mountains. Goodbye!

What a great tiny house! Very modernly equipped and very well maintained. The great scent of wood is just great! We had a great stay there. It's also amazing what kitchen equipment was there (bowls, spices, tea, pots, everything...)

The two were super nice and very supportive in advance in planning our hike. Check-in worked smoothly and as soon as we entered the accommodation, a "homey" feeling spread immediately. The place is really very lovingly decorated, you have everything you need & everything was in impeccable condition. Everything was very clean and the bed was also really comfortable, so we could also start the days relaxed. And although it is a check-in with a key box, it is not as if you get the impression that the two want to avoid contact with guests, quite the contrary - maximum flexibility paired with open & warm hospitality. Then the surroundings: A really ingenious view of the surroundings, whether you're watching the rain, the sunrise or just a sunny day - it's worth looking out the window at any time. It was a new and interesting experience to spend time in the Tiny house. The garden is beautifully done but the kitchen area can be improved upon. It was a bit cluttered for a small space.

We had a wonderful weekend with 2 nights. Fantastic location and the weather was so nice that thanks to the many helpful recommendations of our hosts we were able to walk directly from the house and spend a wonderful day in a nearby beer garden. Even with a toddler, there are great walks from the house and the small playground right at the Tiny House was a great added value for us parents. In general, the 2 days off felt like a full-fledged vacation. Absolutely great and recommended accommodation whether for a small family, as a couple or with friends. We used the fire pit right in front of the terrace extensively and a highlight in the morning was watching the cows in the pasture while having breakfast. Simply a mega nice house, with pure nature and a lot of peace! We'll be happy to come back and felt very welcome. Thank you 🫶

Thanks dear Michael for the stay in your Tiny House! We enjoyed the tranquility and view very much. The tractor was of course one of the biggest highlights and will long be remembered. Hopefully we can come back next year.

we had a supermarket stay in the very cute husle. Warm, we'll equipped and all very seamless. Highly recommend.

We stayed for 4 nights with our soon 3 year old twins in the tiny house and had a wonderful time. We didn't miss anything and we felt very comfortable.

Nice, homely place to stay. Has everything you need. Within a 5-minute walk in the city and thus in the middle of the action. Nicole is very nice and accommodating.

Super friendly hosts, Stübli very cozy, sauna and hot tub great

We had a super nice time. We were there for 4 days and were able to relax superbly. The place is very quiet and the nature great. Everything was as written in the description. Sauna and hot tub were easy to heat up. The contact with Alex and Nicole was friendly and they were there immediately if we needed anything. We felt very comfortable and will be back.

I was traveling with my son and we had a great time at the chicken house! Really cozy and lovingly furnished. Guido and Gabi were super nice and we had great conversations. We especially enjoyed the many cats at the farm.

The tiny house is recommended. The kitchen is very well furnished and the living room is stylish. The location is very quiet and you can quickly walk to the city of Schaffhausen.

This tiny home was super cozy and had exactly what I needed - a small but fully functional kitchen as well as a big spacious bathroom and bedroom. It’s also a 10min busride or 40min walk from the oldtown in Zurich. For someone looking to have their own, private space - I couldn’t recommend this place more. Jurg and his wife are also super friendly and welcoming.
