Bedford Hideaway is a unique 1963 SB3 Bedford Bus which has been transformed into a perfect getaway with all the amenities you would expect in a home. Located in a private rural bush setting only 5 minute drive from Greymouth CBD It includes kitchenette, tea & coffee facilities, microwave and a continental breakfast. Full sized shower and flushing toilet along with a queen sized bed, an electric blanket and plenty of extra bedding. Close to all your needs but still private & peaceful to relax!

Tasman West - on the beach!

Our home is 'on the beach' and is situated midway between Greymouth and Punakaiki. We offer a self contained unit on the ground floor of our home. The beach is just a few steps away and is great for walking. Punakaiki is 20 minutes from the house, Greymouth is also 20 minutes and Hokitika airport is a 50 minute drive to the south. Greymouth offers a range of eateries and there is a pub and hotel in Punakaiki. We are situated on state high way 6, which is well known for its spectacular scenery.

OCEANSIDE RETREAT

A beachfront studio unit sleeping 5 on the same large rural beachfront property as Penguins Retreat and Whitebait Cottage. The sleeping area of the large unit is divided into two so that the queen bed and the second area with another queen bed and single bed have visual privacy but the wall does not go to the ceiling We do not live on the property so this place suits independent travellers who have a car, wanting to spend time on a west coast beach. Only 3 minutes drive to Hokitika township.

Koru Cabin. Includes Breakfast & Hot Tub

Our self contained open plan cabin offers a relaxing escape, with comfy beds, a full kitchen and spacious bathroom. The Cabin is only a short walk away to a secluded beach where mussels can be gathered, or you may be lucky and find a piece of greenstone. Soak in the outdoor hot tub, especially if you have done the Paparoa Track (pick up/drop off can be arranged at a competitive price, please enquire.) Snuggle up in front of the log burner fire in Winter. Continental Breakfast is included.

Rapahoe Self Contained Unit

Located at the start of the Great Coast Road and on route to famous Punakaiki (only 30 mins drive) and New Zealands latest and recently completed great walk (Paparoa Track) lays a cozy modern fully self-contained unit only 10 minutes drive from all the amenities of Greymouth's town centre in a private rural setting. If it is privacy you seek this is the ideal spot for you! 5 min walk to a secluded Beach. It's not uncommon to be the only one on the beach... great viewing for sunsets

Situated in a private lifestyle setting and just a short walk to the beach and access to the West Coast Cycle Trail. We offer a queen bedroom with bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided along with filtered water in the room and a microwave for heating your pre cooked meals. On site parking and outdoor seating to enjoy our beautiful sunsets. There is a takeaway/dairy close by as well as Hotel/ Restaurants all just a short drive or cycle. Ikamatua B &B - The accomodation is set in a rural garden overlooking the village of Ikamatua. The surrounding land is our own farmland. The surrounding rivers have excellent fishing. Great walks nearby. Good stopover when heading towards glaciers if heading south or north towards Nelson, Blenheim, or Picton. The local hotel in Ikamatua does great evening meals, this is only 5mins from accommodation.
