Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Laikipia County

First off the cottage is beyond beautiful.Even gorgeous is an understatement.There’s so much space and it’s like a breath of fresh air. The horses and the friendly dogs were everything one could wish for. It’s definitely the standard if you want a good place to just enjoy quietly.

The place is worth the price, Maureen always available, the surrounding beautiful serenity and Mary and Moses super helpful. 100% recommend.

The Landing is an exquisite haven of tranquility and privacy. The photos simply cannot capture its true beauty. From the cottage, you’re treated to stunning views of Mt. Kenya, creating a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. The place was clean and thoughtfully prepared for our stay. I enjoyed a truly wonderful weekend and will definetly return. Anne was incredibly responsive and accommodating, addressing all our needs seamlessly. The staff was also exceptionally helpful, ensuring that every request was met. A beautiful place for sure and worth the experience.

Amazing home, am definitely coming back

We loved the tranquility at the cottage, exactly what we needed to begin the new year. The fact that we had the unit to ourselves was amazing, perfect for couples. We got raw cow milk daily for free & even green vegetables when we requested. There was everything we needed & more, loved the home made chili offered. Catherine the help was too kind & always available to help, she’s a gem. We shall definitely be back especially because there was great Starlink Wifi! Only thing is, don’t expect calls on Safaricom or Airtel networks so it’s great when you don’t need to be on call 😀 Cheers to a great start of the year Dion 😇🙏🏽🤓 Tip; it’s near Solio conservancy, take the turn at the PCEA Nanyuki church signage, drive 2.7kms & you won’t miss it ☺️

Beautiful place, exactly as in the photos, quite homely. Bright airy rooms and you can see Mt Kenya on a clear morning. The bed was also very comfortable. Definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed staying here. Brian was a responsive host and he was available to answer any of our concerns/queries any time we reached out. The penthouse is spacious and serene and above all, very close to amenities especially cedar mall and restaurants. Would highly recommend Brian’s place

Had a great time at Namelok Retreat Centre. Very nice accommodations. The room was big, clean, and comfortable. We felt very safe. The entire facility was beautiful. Exactly as advertised. Ol jorok cabins exceeded all our expectations and delivered an unforgettable experience! From the very beginning, Sara went above and beyond to make our stay seamless. When we encountered car troubles on our way, she stepped in immediately, sending assistance and ensuring we were well taken care of. Her communication was flawless throughout. The cabins themselves are simply stunning—far better than the photos! The ambiance is serene and inviting, truly a home away from home. Surrounded by fresh air and absolute tranquility, it’s the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I can’t wait to return and will wholeheartedly recommend Ol Jorok Cabins to family and friends as the ideal getaway spot. A special mention goes to Peter, the chef recommended by Sara—he was absolutely incredible! Every meal was a delight, with top-notch flavors that we thoroughly enjoyed each day. Elizabeth’s place was AMAZING! The place is much better than the photos. Extremely clean, safe and very well taken care of. You have a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to be ready to cook. Also in this place is where l had the best hot shower so far. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to stop at Nanyuki and visit mount Kenya & Ngare Ndare Forest. 100% recommend 💚

Ben's place is paradise. I joked to him that his place is the Eden. We got there late; the place was very ready for us. A crackling fire set the warmth. It felt like a second honeymoon. I went to paradise and never wanted to leave.

I would highly recommend My Time Cottage. The host is amazing and responds in time. She was very helpful, and it was an easy decision for me to stay there. I love that, as a guest, you get free access to Sarova Maiyan. For me, this is the easiest 5-star that I have given to a listing.

I loved my stay here. I was looking for somewhere quiet and this was exactly the place. I loved walking to the lake, sitting by the fire in the evening. Everyone was also super helpful. Alex gave us a recommendation for local hidden gems and this made the trip even better. The beds in the cabin are comfortable, kitchen has a basic table-top stove which works esp if you are making light meals. Living room furniture is okay. Works. Porch is my fav. We had hot water. This cabin is also private (there are other cabins in the compound). If you don’t want to cook there is a restaurant nearby, you can walk there for food or ask them to deliver.
