Secret Beach House

Really the perfect house for vacation. Great welcome and lots of little touches. The house is in a dream location, lovingly decorated and perfectly equipped. There's really nothing missing here. Super nice host with great tips and very good accessibility. If we come back to Nova Scotia, we will definitely book the Secret Beach House again. Dear Courtenay, Thank you so much for everything. It was a pleasure meeting you.

I had an amazing time at Joe and Jeff's place, as always. The view is beautiful, the place is cozy and super clean. They are incredibly responsive and helpful hosts. For many years now I have been going to the cottage for a quiet week away, and every time it is a wonderful experience. I can't rate the cottage highly enough, and Joe and Jeff are exceptional hosts.

Mallard on Church Lake Accessible Lakefront AFrame

Les TylerRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our stay at Mallard at Church Lake was fantastic! The A-frame design is stunning with beautiful decor throughout. The kitchen setup was perfect, and we loved using the outdoor grill for lakeside meals. As birding enthusiasts, we added many new species to our Life List and learned fascinating details about mallard duck behavior and life cycles. The location is a nature lover's dream. What really set this property apart were the excellent accessibility features (wheelchair ramp, no-threshold shower, seamless floor transitions, etc., which accommodated our disabilities. The hosts were communicative before and during our stay, making everything seamless. We enjoyed canoeing and paddleboarding during the day and incredible stargazing at night under clear skies. This property offers the perfect blend of comfort, accessibility, and natural beauty. We'd absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to other travellers, especially those needing accessible accommodations!

Petite Cabin

JasmineRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Pat’s cabin in the woods was the cutest get away. We had a few days on the road and it was lovely to get to rest up in a peaceful cabin oasis for a night. The record player was a fantastic bonus, and we visited some of Pat’s local beach recommendations the next day :) would love to come again

Lahave Islands Seaside Retreat

JenniferRating, 5 stars10 months ago
From the minute we booked it I was blown away by the friendliness and helpfulness of the host. Answered all my questions and went above and beyond in helping make our stay perfect. I have stayed in many places and this was by far the most equipped air bnb I have ever seen. You truly did not need to bring a thing from home other than your clothes and food, everything else was provided. So many small details when it came to furnishing, decorating and stocking the cottage and so much thought put into each thing. The perfect balance between beach house, modern yet extremely cozy. We wanted to show our son in law a true Nova Scotia experience on his first trip to Canada and this host, cottage and location checked off every box. I would highly recommend this air bnb to anyone!
