House vacation rentals in Lagoa

The place is a bit out of the way and is rather quiet. A rental car is highly recommended. The interior was very clean and well equipped, at first we only missed barbecue tools and a pizza pusher for the pizza oven in the outdoor area. After a short inquiry, however, the manager promptly placed new grill tools in the kitchen on the same day. In the outdoor area, the sun loungers are a bit outdated and no longer quite clean and the table incl. Benches are also not the most comfortable way to enjoy the beautiful evenings and nights under the open sky. But all this is whining at a very high level - we felt very comfortable in the villa with 10 people and had a great time in the villa. We did not use the very well-equipped interior (billiards, kicker) due to the beautiful weather, but here you can certainly have a great vacation, even if it is colder.

Hans & Karin were amazing hosts!!! One of the showers unfortunately wasn’t working but Hans came out to look and said it needed mending! Wasn’t a problem as there was another shower to use. The place was spotless and the location was amazing in Ferragudo! I would highly recommend using Hans & Karin!! Lovely people and so helpful!!! Also picked up and took us to airport!!! So kind!!!! Thank you Hans & Karin!!! Would love to come back again!!!

We had an incredible stay at Casa Tembo! The property is absolutely beautiful - peaceful, thoughtfully designed, and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Our host was wonderfully understanding and kind, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

We absolutely loved our stay at Floris's villa! It was our first time travelling with our son who was 11 months and it couldnt have been more perfect. The pool is completely gated off whilst also feeling like its still part of the house. There was a baby bath and even a stroller provided as well as lots of toys. The bedrooms had blackout shutters which kept it very cool inside and everything was very clean and comfy. We loved using the bbq for our dinners and the garden got the sun from first thing in the morning until late in the evening. The town is walking distance which was ideal for morning walks and popping in for drinks or meals. During our stay, our son needed to see a doctor. Even though it was a Sunday evening, when I rang Floris they immediately put us in touch with an out of hours doctor who did house calls and came round within 20 minutes. We couldnt be more grateful for this service and Floris's help. Definitely want to stay again! Thank you!

The villa at Carvoeiro was actually better than the initial pictures on the listing. Lots of room, beautiful kitchen and baths. Outdoor pool area with two big umbrellas, outdoor dining, hammock, plus a conversation set in the shade. Additionally there are two rooftop decks, though we used neither due to heat/sun. Villa is walkable to the beach and many restaurants- there is no need to rent a car. We did, however have a rental car and appreciated the dedicated parking on property and walled/fenced yard. Miriam shared tips and suggestions before our arrival and was prompt in responding to questions before and during our stay. She was welcoming, kind, and understanding. Would definitely recommend this place to family, friends, and anyone else. Would stay here again.

John and Sarah were incredible hosts, very helpful, friendly and their recommendations in the guidebook were excellent - thank you both so much. We spent ten days at the villa as a group of eight and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The location is undoubtedly one of the villa’s strongest assets: situated directly on the cliffs, it offers impressive views and a peaceful atmosphere. The walk into town takes around 15 to 20 minutes and leads to a variety of restaurants, cafés, and bars - ideal for evenings out without needing a car. The villa itself is well maintained, spacious, and comfortable. It was cleaned twice during our stay, and fresh bed linen was offered, which we appreciated. The house manager was very friendly, welcoming, and always quick to respond whenever we had a question or request. Communication was smooth and uncomplicated throughout. Overall, we found the villa to be an excellent base for our holiday – well located, well managed, and well suited to a group. We would certainly consider staying here again. 👍🏽

We spent 5 nights at Rita's place and really loved it. Super nice house, perfectly equipped, great location and quiet area. The roof terrace overlooking the Atlantic was a great place to end the evening after a “strenuous” day on the beach. We really recommend the place to anyone! Thank you Rita :)

Perfect by car, parking at the house or just a few meters away, apartment in a small village with older, very friendly neighbors, supermarkets and restaurants easily accessible by car, apartment superbly equipped, there was nothing missing. It was perfect for us. We would come back anytime. A big thank you to the landlord, the communication was great.

the stay was like the photos and equipped with every comfort, very modernly furnished with convenient technical amenities. Located in a top location. Laurie was very accommodating and very responsive. Only the water from the shower was quickly cold, also made sure that I did not stay in the shower for too long.

Beautiful house, with everything necessary for a relaxing vacation. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds comfortable. The location is quiet and the beach can be reached within 10 minutes' walk. We felt very comfortable. Martine gave us lots of helpful tips for activities as well as good tips on restaurants nearby and was always quickly available for any questions. We can definitely recommend the Casa de Martine.

The house is placed in a very calm residential area but close to very beautiful spots (including a nice 10-minute walk to a breathtaking walk on the coast cliffs). It was fully equipped with all useful appliances and very spacious. You can either stay in and enjoy the garden and the swimming pool or walk around the area or take the car to do some sightseeing. Harald was ready to answer all our questions and to help us both before our departures and during our stay. We found the place clean and tidy. We truly recommend the place.

Great location near Carvoeiro beach. A very easy 15 minute walk to the centre where you can find all you need. Supermarkets are also very close by so makes life very easy staying there. The house itself was very good with aircon in both bedrooms and living room. A lovely balcony and terrace too.

Dominique’s place is absolutely beautiful, even better than the pictures! The house has everything you need, and the nearby town of Silves is lovely. Great communication and a wonderful stay all round - thank you! ☺️

Communication with the host was friendly, fast, and easy. We felt completely at home and would definitely love to come back!

One of the best apartments I’ve stayed in! Clean, organized, newly renovated, and absolutely worth the price. The apartment is located in a small and quiet town full of things to do, just a 30-minute drive from major cities in the area. The hosts really paid attention to the little details – from a welcome book and a special towel for makeup removal to a beautiful lemon tree in the yard. There’s also a balcony on the third floor that gives you a safe and pleasant outdoor experience. Highly recommended!

The description of the villa we felt was accurate. The host, Miguel was very helpfully answering our pre arrival questions & arranging transport from the airport.!t was a great place to stay (we were 6 adults plus a 9 month old), cot & highchair provided . The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were as expected with plenty of towels & the kitchen was fully equipped. We very much enjoyed the pool & pool table on site. The location suited us well just a 15 minute walk from the beach & town All in all a great holiday stay.

Sonia’s home was a lovely stay, the home and garden were well maintained and we thoroughly enjoyed being there. The area is nice and rural, and the local town was only a short work away, while other towns and attractions were only a short drive away. Would recommend coming here and would happily come back ⭐️

Beautiful place, just a few minutes from one of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal. Our host was very responsive! Place was very clean and the pool was a great feature on those hot days!

This apartment completely exceeded our expectations. It was much more spacious than anticipated, offering plenty of room to relax and enjoy our stay. The location was brilliant— Carvoeiro is a charming and picturesque town with a great atmosphere. We loved being close to excellent bakeries, restaurants, and bars, all within walking distance. One of the standout features was the terrace, which was a fantastic bonus and the perfect spot to unwind at any time of day. A couple of things to note: while the parking is convenient, the space is quite tight, so if you're hiring a car, opt for a smaller one. Also, there is no iron provided, so pack accordingly. Thank you for such a great stay and we will be returning for definite :)

Absolutely amazing stay at Praia de Marinha for our multigenerational family holiday of 12 people. The house and facilities were just as described, had everything we needed. Pool was fantastic and cooked a couple of BBQs outside. The oven is older and a bit temperamental with only 2 of the 4 hobs working but we managed it. We arranged transfers via mini bus from the airport (Faro) and hired a small car which was fantastic for popping out to get groceries every few days. The mini van couldn’t get down the bumpy dirt road so did need to carry our cases to the house from the Praia de Marinha carpark which was ok for us but some might struggle. All amenities were clean and tidy, the beds were slightly hard but I guess that’s personal preference. Remember to take bottles water and loo roll with you as you shouldn’t drink the water and was none in the house, also only 2 toilet rolls in the house for 3 toilets - thankfully we could get to the shops with our hire car. All in all, 5 stars!
