Vacation rentals with lake access in Lacombe County

This was our second stay at Whitney’s beautiful property. It was just like we remembered, and we enjoyed lazy mornings in the sunroom as well as long nights soaking in the hot tub. The perfect place to spend a girl’s weekend—we can’t wait to go back!

Thank you Kassidy! House was very clean, nice towels, bedding and overall clean house! Perfect size! Kitchen had everything needed to make home cooked meals. House size was perfect.

The house looks small outside but it is spacious inside. Jeff is very accommodating and responsive.

This lovely home is situated in a peaceful neighborhood, conveniently located for exploring the town. The property is well-maintained, offering a variety of enjoyable activities regardless of the weather. The pool table was a particular hit. The host was friendly, responsive, and provided clear instructions. I highly recommend this property for your Sylvan Lake visit.

Had an amazing stay at Carolyn's place. The house was beautiful and in such a great location. There was plenty of space for all of us and then some! We were greeted with a wonderful surprise for our friends birthday and some lovely treats for everyone as well. This house is perfect for a small group of friends or a family vacation, everything you could need is available to you and Carolyn is an amazing host - friendly, quick replies, helpful and you can really tell she loves this property and cares for it very well. There are games, cozy beds, outdoor hangout spots, fun beach items, and even more. Our group as a whole agreed we would recommend this place to others and would absolutely consider it for any future trips!

We wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude to Kelly for her exceptional last-minute accommodation. After our initial booking turned out to be misadvertised, Kelly swiftly responded to our urgent need for alternative housing. With two young children (ages 2 and 3.5) and a 16-year-old dog in tow, we were relieved when Kelly promptly granted us access to her charming cabin. As soon as we stepped inside, we knew we had found our haven – the kids' eyes widened with excitement, and we all exclaimed, "Wow, this was meant to be!" The cabin was thoughtfully equipped with toys, a backyard play area, a high chair, and all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The space was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and featured cozy beds. We couldn't have asked for a more wonderful experience. Thank you, Kelly, for making our family's stay truly unforgettable!

Our host Denise went above and beyond with her communication and her absolutely 5 star "cottage". It was so cozy and clean and welcoming for our ladies getaway. The decor is so charming and the extra treats she provided for us was so special and very much appreciated. The beds were very comfortable as was the cozy seating area in front of the fireplace...which we thoroughly enjoyed. I can't say enough about the wonderful ambiance of this cottage! Another bonus is the two minute walk to the fairy light lit promenade all along the lake. It was a beautiful walk watching the sunset. Us five sisters highly recommend this lovely cottage and would love to come back.

This is a great place for an extended family gathering. An upstairs rec area with foosball and some classic arcade games keeps kids occuped! It is a short walk (5 mins) to the lake and lakefront area. Suzanne was a great communicator, very proactive, who provided detailed instructions which made it easy for us in all aspects of the stay. The house was fully stocked with cooking supplies, ingredients and snacks, which really worked for us. I highly recommend this place.

My husband and I had such a wonderful stay at Heart Haven! We highly recommend! The place was cozy and had perfect beach home vibes. We took advantage of the hot tub and games. Stayed cozy by the fire pit and enjoyed breakfast at the outdoor patio table. It was perfect spot, near the lake but not right in the hustle and bustle. The house amenities and provided supplies really made it easier for us to get through our weekend and made us feel like we were at home. We found near by scooters and rode around. They were very handy just to go to the corner store or go towards the lake for a walk. Many great restaurants around. We recommend trying the 2nd Wind Brewery and Sun of a Beach. We had amazing dishes at both places. Buck Wildz is always a great time as well! Highly recommend Heart Haven!! Thanks again Anita and Marc for being great hostesses!!

This was exactly what I was looking for, for my family and I. We had never been to Sylvan Lake before and were visiting family in town. The location was perfect with our kids! Super easy walk to an incredible playground and the lake. Everything we needed and wanted to go to was a short walk or drive. Ashley was a very friendly host, amazing communication and the dog friendly stay was perfect for us, doggie toys included.

Karen’s place was the perfect for a weekend getaway! She was an amazing host - offering both and early check in and late check out, and offering us use of extra amenities at the property. The property is about half a block from the lake, a perfect walking distance. And it’s about a 10 minute walk to the main beach. The property was quiet, clean, and comfortable for our stay. If we ever find ourselves in Sylvan Lake again, I would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was cozy and comfortable. You’re not right on the water, but it’s just a very short walk to the beach. The host is super nice. I’d highly recommend!

Ashten's place is so lovely. A perfect location, just steps away from the lake and all of the bars and restaurants in Sylvan (although I was with my 75 year old parents so no bars for me!!! - LOL). The pictures of the interior actually don't do it justice. It is so much more beautiful than that. The decor is so well presented and the BEDS......so comfortable and you need a comfortable bed after a few nights with your 75 year old parents. Ha. The kitchen is also stellar. Everything is there and we might have drank too much of Ashten's tea (sorry). I don't usually eat 'in' anywhere while I am away, but it was a pleasure prepping in that kitchen. Such a nice living room as well - so comfy with a wonderful fireplace to keep you cozy in the winter. My puppers super enjoyed the big yard! Nice big firepit which we didn't use because of the snow (and the 'old ones' have canes and such, but the trees LIGHT up!!!! Beautiful. Thank you Ashten for the stay!!!

This was our second time staying in Sylvan Lake! We had a great stay here for 3 nights and definitely look forward to going back! Sandy and Dave’s place was just as described, and they responded immediately with any questions we had. Very peaceful quiet area! Would recommend. Thanks so much!

We had a wonderful time staying at Veronica's place! My son absolutely loved the loft area – he was thrilled to climb up the ladder and have his own little space. The entire rental was very clean, and we really appreciated the abundance of towels. It was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and we would definitely recommend it to others!

This home is just beautiful and spacious. More than enough space for 9 of us. The place was spotless. I was so impressed since I am very particular about cleanliness. Jon and Melody are amazing hosts. They responded immediately to any questions I had. If I am ever back in sylvan/jarvis I would 100% try to book this again. If you’re thinking about booking this, just do it!!!
