Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lackawanna County

We stayed at Yelena's place last year and the entire family was thrilled. There was never any question that we all wanted to return again this year. Participants ranged in age from 10-82 years old. Everyone found many things to do. Fishing, ping pong and boating were definite highlights. The house was perfect for large groups with very flexible accommodations. The kitchen and rest of the house was well stocked with many unexpected extras provided. Immaculate premises and a wonderful host! Could not ask for more! :)

From booking our stay at the Cozy Cabin to check out, Katharine was a helpful and friendly host. Even when our plans changed unexpectedly, she was flexible and understanding. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Walking distance to the pool and clubhouse, it was the perfect location for a long weekend getaway. We had a great stay and can’t wait to book again next summer!

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as pictured—beautifully remodeled, in excellent condition, and incredibly cozy. It had everything we needed to feel right at home, including all the essential amenities. Wendy was an outstanding host from beginning to end—responsive, proactive, and thoughtful, always one step ahead in anticipating our needs. The canoes were a wonderful bonus, offering easy lake access and a lot of fun on the water. We also loved the nearby playgrounds and enjoyed relaxing at the community pool. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-equipped getaway—we’d absolutely stay here again!

My family loved staying at Stacey's beautiful home. It was very clean and comfortable. My kids even mentioned the very comfy couch and plush carpets. Communication was excellent - she made us feel welcome and answered questions quickly. The home and surrounding area was beautiful. We enjoyed watching movies on the big screen, playing air hockey and video games, and sitting on the back porch reading and relaxing. We hope to stay there again!

The rain came and went throughout the weekend, which actually made things feel extra cozy. We loved the screened-in porch and loved that we got to use the fire pit and make s’mores and got to bbq on the grill all while staying dry but still feeling the cool breeze and still enjoy the warmth of the fire. The hot tub was easily the best hot tub i’ve used in all my air bnb stays. THE BIKES! Did not expect to be bike riding but so happy we did, loved riding around in the community and got some fun exercise in. The couches were also super comfortable! Watching music videos in the living room was the best. Would definitely stay again! And will be recommending friends and family. We didn’t use any of the community’s amenities (didn’t feel the need to) but there is an outdoor pool and indoor pool you could go to for $10 a person on weekends. Host was helpful and available to text and call at all times.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage on the lake. Beautiful property with a few special unexpected things too. The hot tub over looking the lake was perfect for the chilly mornings and evenings.

The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals and enjoy them on the spacious deck while soaking in the serene surroundings. What truly made our stay unforgettable was our host, Macarena. From our first interaction, she was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. She provided excellent local recommendations for activities and dining, and it was clear that she genuinely cared about making our experience memorable.

CJ was very responsive to all of our questions. The house was absolutely gorgeous and was fully stocked with everything you can imagine. There was so much to keep you entertained ever if you're rained in. We loved the use of the kayaks, but unfortunately the paddle boat was waterlogged from the heavy rain. The hot tub was so relaxing. CJ prepared the place with a portable crib and high chair for my grandson. Breathtaking views of the lake from every room in the back of the house. WE WILL DEFINATELY STAY HERE AGAIN!!! I STAY IN TOWN FREQUENTLY FOR WORK AND MY SISTER AND HER HUSBAND WANTED TO MEET UP SINCE THEY TOO WERE IN TOWN. THEY NEEDED A DOG FRIENDLY PLACE AND I GOT THEM A NIGHT AT PATRICIAS FOR AN ANNIVERSARY PRESENT. ALTHOUGH I DID NOT SEE THE PROPERTY THEY WERE VERY HAPPY AND MENTIONED HOW GREAT THE PLACE WAS. CLEAN COMFORTABLE AND PERFECT FOR THEIR NEEDS. I WILL PROBABLY TRY TO STAY HERE IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

Place is as described, clean and updated. Sulfur water present, host provides bottled water to get started! Great location for our needs.

Sarah's loft was exactly as described. Parking was handy and the space felt safe. We were able to walk to a fantastic Italian restaurant as well as a nice walking path near the river. We definitely recommend this loft, especially for couples.

Great stay! Very responsive host and place was very clean and convenient location!

A charming apartment in a cool building up at the quiet end of Broadway. Race Street shops and restaurants are also an easy walk away. The place has character (fabulous art) and was a clean as could be, with many thoughtful touches. The bed was comfortable, and the shower (though small) had great water pressure and the whirlpool tub is a nice, relaxing feature after a hike or bike. Many good restaurants and shops within walking distance, and the lake is just a few minutes drive away and has a very nice beach. Many things in town are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, just be aware. Great stay, exactly as advertised. Host had many great suggestions for things to do and places to eat.

Loved the place! Just like the pictures. Super responsive host. Even shoveled the deck and stairs for us after a snow storm. Definitely recommend staying here!

It is the second time we stayed at Michelle’s place and it is one of the most favorite locations for us. Caught bunch of perch and bluegill at the lake and enjoyed our tea watching the sunset. Michelle is a great host.

A very comfortable home with ample outside space. We were there for our sisters memorial so I don't have fun stories about things we did but my brothers and I were able to be together and there was so much room to host her family and our cousins for meals. To have 4 bedrooms for 6 adults at the rate we paid was very helpful to our budget. Thank you for that

What a great stay for my bachelorette party!! Even though it rained all weekend this house was still endlessly entertaining with everything in the basement and the pool and hot tub - Irene’s was the perfect getaway!!! Irene was also very kind and responded in a very timely manner, making the stay easy as well as fun!

Our family of 9 enjoyed our stay. The home was exactly as depicted in the photos, with plenty of space for all of us. The breakfast supplies were a nice touch that we appreciated.

We would return without a second thought. Before we arrived, the host was very quick to respond to our questions. Friendly communication from deposit to check out. 4 couples celebrating milestone birthdays. The house was very clean and easy to access. The first things we noticed were the updates to the house. The dining table was large and comfortable for 8 adults. The living room had a large sectional sofa perfect for gathering. Each bedroom had also been updated. Tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and nice linens. We were impressed and thoroughly enjoyed the game room and movie theater! 6 large recliners and comfy floor seating made us feel like we had a night out, without going out. The backyard had a large fire ring and new chairs, but we did not take advantage of them. We did use the large propane grill and hot tub, both were in excellent condition. The kitchen was well appointed and the large fridge was great as we ate in for all meals.

Our hosts met us when we checked in and gave us a tour and answered all of our questions. The place is beautiful and has everything you would need. Ross and Valerie have thought of everything for guests to have the best stay possible. We celebrated my husband's birthday with 8 other friends, they all thought the place was magnificent. The kitchen and bathrooms are all equipped with everything you would need. We totally enjoyed our time there and will definitely return.

Henry’s home was a great experience. The inside is very spacious and beautifully decorated. There are lots of games to play and tvs in most rooms to watch your favorite show. The pool was a little small but still very fun and the hot tub was great. The sauna was very steamy and enjoyable.

My group of 12 has an amazing weekend here. The house was clean, was easy to find and the host rads is very quick to respond and helpful. The hot tub was great and there were many great hikes within ten minutes from the house. We had a great time!

Although it was a short stay, our group fully enjoyed this lovely home! Craig was very responsive all throughout our stay and helped make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Definitely look forward to coming back hopefully in the winter time.
