Great place to stay for a day trip to Matera. Just a short walk from great restaurants, shopping and the Sassi. Was perfect for us!

Very clean, tastefully decorated. Nice landlady. Area very nice and quiet. Lots of mosquitoes that can be expelled with mosquito spray and candles! Windows had all the mosquito nets, which was great. It had some bikes, unfortunately partly in poor condition. Initially the village helpful gas station that offers bicycle service. The long sandy beach almost empty at the end of October, beach cafe still open, pizzeria original and very delicious. We had a great stay!

We had a great stay at Villa Anna. The house is nicely decorated (what a beautiful view from the bedroom and bathroom) with an eye for detail. The kitchen is also very well equipped. Finally, there is a large terrace, ideal for a BBQ or aperitif in the sun. The house is also very suitable for (young) children. I'd recommend to anyone.

If you are visiting Matera and want to be in the center of the Sassi, this location is ideal. The space is clean, beautiful and well appointed. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is hot and powerful. The kitchen is well stocked and Giuseppe left us snacks and beverages to welcome us. Note: Follow Giuseppe’s instructions on how to arrive at the apartment. GPS will get you there but on a much more difficult route to traverse with luggage.

Lovely apartment with a great view.

Angelo is a very polite and gracious host. The house is modern, clean, and well equipped. Location is quiet, safe, and very convenient. We stayed for a few days and it served as the perfect home base for us to go visit various places of interest around Puglia. We will definitely return the next time that we're in the area.

Location in new town on edge of old town with private parking was what got me to book this property. We walked to all places with farthest walk being 20-30 minutes to other edge of old town. Host was always responsive and local recommendations and help with booking restaurants was so valuable. Bedroom on mezzanine can get warm on a nice day but there is AC. This room also is next to street so street noise can be heard for light sleepers. Second bedroom is cooler and quieter. Really enjoyed our stay in the spacious home.

We spent a weekend in Matera. We are very satisfied with the very nice accommodation, great location near the stone area, very kind and helpful host.
