Beachfront vacation rentals in Kusini

After 2 weeks of volunteering, this accommodation was great to come down and relax. The location was really great and Barbara was always on hand to help with recommendations, a bajaji etc. needed. It was a great end to our time in Zanzibar. Highly recommended!

As our first time traveling abroad, we felt right at home at The Zanzibar Beach House (which made saying goodbye so hard.) We were blown away with the views, the amazing self-catering unit to cook our own foods (to stay within our budget) and the help we received from the hosts were great! We will miss this piece of paradise 🏝 and we only wish for everyone else planning their trip to Zanzibar to take our advise and book the stay at the unique Zanzibar Beach House! We hope to be back soon! 🇹🇿

Very nice place in a prime location right at the beach. Amenities and cleanliness are very good. The terrace, which is just a jump from the Indian Ocean at high tide, is unique. We have not seen any other accommodation in Jambiani that provides such private access to the sea. At low tide, you can still lie down in the existing hot tub😎 There was a power outage twice in the ten days we were on site, but this was promptly picked up by a generator set. Hakuna matata! What made our stay that bit special was Barau, the local manager. He lives in the neighborhood, is always available and a very helpful, friendly and accommodating person. He cares very well for his guests and reliably helps to organize all kinds of tours, whether on land or water. In addition, Barau and his wife Zuhura offer very good authentic food at absolutely affordable prices. So definitely try it!

Nakudenda House is a nice, spacious house in the heart of Jambiani village. The beach is just a stone's throw away. Lots of nice restaurants around. The house offers comfortable, large bedrooms. It's nicely decorated and has all you need to enjoy wonderful Jambiani. Eta and Romain are very nice hosts, very proactive and try to solve any problems as quickly as possible. Communicating with them was very easy and they go out of their way to make your stay a nice one.

Thanks for a wonderful stay Raphael. The house is beautiful, it is as described. It is very well maintained, there are fruit trees and bougainvillea on the property and it is beautiful The house is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The pool is large and clean, we enjoyed it in the late afternoon after returning from the beach (1 min walk) Issa the caretaker is a kind, efficient and trustworthy man. Raphael is an exceptional host, he responded promptly to our many requests always with a kind word and a smile in his voice. We hope to meet him one day and we will certainly return to his home. Go there without so much as a second thought.

It was an amazing stay and a wonderful experience

If you're looking for a quiet oasis in lively Zanzibar, this is the place for you. A private beach and unobstructed lake views in all directions and from anywhere on the property. A good individual breakfast, dinner and lunch. Fresh fruit (as much passion fruit as you can eat) and a well-stocked minibar in the fridge. Friendly and prompt answers and fulfillment of wishes. A clear recommendation.

Me and 7 other friends stayed here for 1 week and had a great time. We were a bit skeptical about not having a swimming pool, but a 1 minute walk by the beach and you can find Bahari which is great for food and The Loop which is great for swimming in pool (its free). We made an agreement to when the maids were supposed to clean wich was also great for those who like to sleep long. We had some difficulty finding the villa since we used our own driver, so I would recommend using the villas driver or set your google maps to Bahari Pizza Resturant to get there safely with your own driver. Overall the stay was great with a 10 minute drive to Paje city center, and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in Zanzibar:)

Tashina and Tim are very nice, helpful, lovely people. Whole place looks like described and showed in photos. Contact with host 24/7 is very helpful. They also provide transfer from airport. I would recommend this place because of privatness, very good service and clean. Pool is also very good in hot days :)

The property is clean and well equipped. - Microwave, airfryer. The staff is very welcoming, the house is 5 minutes from the beach and a 10-minute drive to Paje to do our shopping. The solar panels are a real plus, no power outages. It's a quiet, safe and relaxing place with a beautiful pool and deckchairs to relax. Arnaud and Eddie were always there for us, they organized our transfers from the airport and various excursions. I highly recommend this place!!

OUTSTANDING. We have been living in Tanzania for 3 months in Dar Es Salaam before coming to Paje Beach Apartments, so we are already acclimated to the country. This place far exceeded our expectations on every level. Lynette at the front desk and the entire staff made this place the most amazing place to stay ever. Seriously. Tanzania can be hit and miss when it comes to AirBnB accommodations, but this place stands out in every single category, especially cleanliness and overall value. I would , however, encourage you to walk the beach to look for food options after eating at Abel's place because the food gets even better as you begin to explore the beachfront. This is one of the few places in Tanzania where I would say the pictures don't even do it justice. It's more beautiful in person. They have only like 6 apartments and then a few single rooms, so the entire place is not that big and you get very personal treatment, at least we did. And the STAFF are AMAZING. So super responsive. Very warm and friendly. Our 5 year old made so many friends with the staff here and they are very professional. Can't say enough good things about it. We will be back.

We stayed six nights and had a wonderful time. The place is quiet, it’s like a little oasis. Raluca and Lee are very good hosts! The breakfast that we enjoyed every morning was by far the best we had and also the curry was absolutely delicious. We can definitely recommend staying with them.

Beautiful beach bungalows. Great atmosphere, great breakfast, great location, so great that we extended our stay by 2 nights. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and assisted us in hiring a moped to explore the island. Vanessa is a great host, very easy and flexible. Would recommend and definitely come back.

Thomas was so loving, nice and always available. Saleh as a housekeeper as well and very helpful. The place is recommended to everyone. A sufficient pool, kitchen with everything you need and shopping within walking distance. Great praise and we will be happy to come back ❤️ Dear Thomas, thank you for everything

Great resort of about 5 villas. Looks exactly like the pictures. Really paradisiacal. Would come back in a moment. The service is also perfect. 2 meals a day (had half board). Service always available, great food with lots of variety. The manager is very responsive to her own wishes and can help superbly with planning the vacation on the island. Only downside: the sea is a few 100 meters away at low tide and you have to walk a little bit until you are by the water. At high tide, however, the water is right outside. So I've seen more beautiful beaches, but the villa and the "around it" make up for it without any problems! Absolute recommendation.

Amazing location with endless beachfront right out the front door. Tons of restaurants within a short walk. Pool was amazing, cleaning crew was super great, and cleaned multiple times a day. Included breakfasts were amazing, but we didn’t pay extra to eat lunch or dinner there, since almost all other nearby locations were cheaper.

A great stay at a beautiful place. Everybody Was very helpful, flexible and Kind. Many thanks to Hadji for Organisation and Fatima for delicious brakfast. We will certainly come back.
