This home is a beautiful neat 2 bedroom that was built in the 1920’s as a miners cottage It is located between Cessnock and Maitland , next to the town of Kurri Kurri and gateway to the wineries . 3km from the Hunter expressway and 35 min to Newcastle . Kurri Kurri is 2.7km away with many Takeaway food places Or sit down for coffee & cake . Weston is 800m ❌ Note if fold out sofa bed is required it is an additional $30 for your stay

A very homely country cottage - very warm and inviting. A beautiful 40 acre country setting with a verandah on three sides of the cottage which is totally yours. You will see cows, geese and if you go for a walk - ducks, chickens and further on a 10-15 minute walk to the beautiful Paterson River. You will see the River in our photos. Also there are so many attractions in the surrounding area.

We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend. I wanted a peaceful night away from my small kids and this fit the bill perfectly. I filled the outside bath with hot water and drank champs and ate cheese overlooking that magnificent view. Stunning! The tiny home feels brand new and is very comfortable, I’d stay again for sure. Perfect for a couple wanting some peaceful time together. Also loved visiting the Trading Post in the afternoon for lunch, beer and stock up on tasty nibbles. Only rated value slightly lower as the night we stayed the electricity went off locally for most of the night. Not Shane’s fault of course! But the generator noise did impact the serenity.

It’s a private, tranquil paradise tucked out the back of a leafy residential neighbourhood- but you wouldn’t know it - It feels like you’re in a leafy paradise miles away from everyone! The additional features like infrared sauna, fire pit and outdoor bath make it super luxe and special. It’s beautifully styled and great attention to detail throughout. Highly recommend!

We had the most wonderful time. We were up for a wedding with four adults and three kids. Ample space. The house itself is set up so well and has more than everything you could need. Corrine was kind enough to leave us lovely breakfast bits too. The garden is just fabulous. The kids couldn’t believe how gorgeous it was and spent all day running around. Due to unforeseen circumstances we booked very last minute and Sue and Neale made sure the place was all set for us and our little boy. It had the perfect amount of space and the biggest yard for our little one to run around. We had the best sleep with our son sleeping in his own bed for the first time!!! Just to wake up in the morning and hear no cars, just birds was such a breath of fresh air. Sue and Neale went above and beyond to make our experience so fun. Especially getting all the toys out for our son to have the best time! Such a lovely couple who were so easy going, easy to talk to and gave us so many recommendations. We loved their place and will be sure to book again soon. If not us, it’ll be our family members, and there are many of them. Thank you Sue and Neale, we are beyond grateful!

had an excellent stay at this Airbnb in Bateau Bay! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach and close to local cafes and shops. The accommodation was spotless, well-maintained, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was super comfy, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the outdoor space was a great spot to relax. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, making check-in and communication effortless. It’s clear they put a lot of thought into making guests feel at home. If you’re looking for a peaceful coastal getaway, I highly recommend this place! I’ll definitely be returning.
