Family-friendly vacation rentals in Kochchikade

This is truly a home away from home. We were welcomed by the sweetest people to a very comfortable accommodation. The pictures really doesn't do the place justice. There's lots of space, the kitchen LITERALLY has everything you need, there's enough ACs to keep the temperature in the entire place fresh and the bathroom was super clean and homelike. It even has a bath which was really nice. There's a complete separate entrance to access the apartment so there's never any intrusion on either side. There was a really cool personalized touch that we don't find in most Airbnbs. We were gifted with fruits upon arrival and even new toothbrushes as well as toothpaste in the bathroom. We hit it off with the owners from the start and they even invited us over for dinner. They are extremely caring and generous hosts who love meeting people. The whole family is really awesome. We felt truly blessed to have passed through here and will definitely be coming back if we return to Colombo.

The Villa is stunning, even more beautiful than the pictures! The outlook from poolside was beautiful, we watched the monkeys playing in the trees while enjoying a lovely breakfast and throughout the day were visited by peacocks, iguanas and many different birdlife. What made this holiday an amazing experience was the excellent services of Chadima. Chadima is highly intuitive of what level of attention you prefer and always highly respectful of privacy and would always check before coming in the kitchen. Chadima prepared breakfast every day, asking for our preferences the night before. We also enjoyed some dinners and a lunch prepared by Chadima which were all excellent. Chadima is super proud of using the highest quality ingredients and would be at the fish markets in the early hours of the morning to get the catch of the day if fish was our choice for dinner. We also enjoyed a great fun cookery lesson with Chadima. Excellent & professional hospitality service - highly recommend.

Отдыхали на вилле с 2 апреля по 15 апреля 2018 года. Вилла в хорошем состоянии, состоит из главного дома и отдельно гостевого домика. В главном доме 3 спальни, одна с выходом к бассейну, две другие обычные комнатки не прям большие, гостиная большая и большая кухня, гостевой домик отличный с выходом к бассейну, во всех комнатах есть душ и туалет, белье чистое меняли регулярно!Вилла находится в 20 минут от аэропорта. Встретили очень хорошо (разные фрукты и полный холодильник пива). На Вилле есть все ! Большая кухня, блендор, столовые приборы, кастрюли, сковородки, стиральная машинка, газовая и электрическая плита, фен, утюг, гладильная доска и т.д. С Виллы до пляжа примерно 15 минут на тук-туке, до мини маркета пешком минут 10, тихий райончик не любят когда шумят после 12 ночи )))).Бассейн просто супер большой, но не глубокий 1.5 метра, 6 лежаков. Смотритель дома Хемапала (для нас был БАТЕЙ )))) помогал и решал любые вопросы которые возникали ( хотя и не говорит по английский, но все равно все понимал ))) Вообщем все понравилось вилла стоит своих денег. Great location. I have stayed here before and loved it. That's why I chose this place for my second visit to Negombo.

This is an old family house. You can almost feel the atmosphere of a large family. We stayed in three comfortable rooms each with an attached bathroom. There was hot water, wi-fi, plenty of plates and everything for a comfortable stay. The house in on the road and close to restaurants and shops. The beach is 5 km away. We liked our comfortable stay a lot. The owner was very helpful. Thank you, Malcoln!

Sehr sauberes Haus, total schöne Ecke. Wir wurden sehr freundlich von dem Hausmeister, empfangen. Hatten einen sehr netten Aufenthalt, mit allem was man braucht. Recht lieben Dank.

Host family is very nice. Location is not far from the Airport. Good value for money for a short stay.

Devinka was wonderful! Throughout our stay, he was constantly checking in with us to make sure we had everything we needed, and was very helpful in finding transportation around the area. The apartment has everything you need, including two beds. There is no air conditioning, but Devinka was kind enough to lend us two fans. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend it!

The house was very nice and we highly recommend it. It was very close to the swimming pool and several shops. It was also very easy to communicate with Ransika and her father. We overall had a wonderful time at this house.

We had lovely stay at the villa. It is very big and the swimming pool is great. Everyone was very helpful and the breakfast of Suneetha was very good. When we come back to Sri Lanka we will stay here again.

Friendly staff, easy check in, big beds with mosquito nets and an electric mosquito swat in the room - very handy! Nice little plunge pool, close enough to beach/Main Street to walk - within 10 mins or so. Very affordable. More like a guest studio, not a stand alone apartment Only small niggle was shower pressure/temperature was temperamental

Felt at home as we came. The caretaker and his wife was very kind and helpful. We have been in this villa before so we had a great experience last time as well hence we decided to come again with our parents. Place is very spacious with a lovely view of the pool, some greenery and the beach. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to go on a small vacay not too far from Colombo and enjoy with family and friends.

Wir (2 Pärchen) starten unseren Sri Lanka Urlaub in der wunderschönen Unterkunft. Es war sauber und die Betten waren gemütlich. Die Klimaanlage in beiden Schlafzimmer haben für die nötige Abkühlung beigetragen, genau so wie der angenehm temperierte Pool. Der Abholservice vom Flughafen war wunderbar und hat tadellos funktioniert.

Just what we needed for our week-long workation during a visa run! The apartment had everything: well-equipped kitchen, comfy bed, good shower, and plenty of space for yoga. The table and couch made working easy, and the balcony was perfect for sunset views. For us, the biggest plus were the strong Wifi and the big enough pool for swim training. And being right at the beach in a great location just made it even better. Would definitely stay again!
