This cozy apartment is fully accommodated and furnished as our family with two kids lives here in winter time. It has oak tree parquet, renovated widows, a small kitchen, bathroom with underfloor heating. The sight from the windows features towers of the New Castle and the church of St. John. Apartment surrounded by two parks. The May Park (with the black swans and playground) is across the street. The Medieval castle is around the corner. Free car park is available in the yard, a nice extra.

Hillside's Rest Nest

When I refurbished the place, my aim was to create a place to relax, read or hideaway to focus on work. Located in the neighbourhood, where all the city life is just a 5-10 minutes walk away and at the same time, it does not feel as city at all as the forest and river walk is just around the corner. I am glad to share it with likeminded travellers and I will be glad to share all those little tips and tricks about places in Cesis, worthwhile to experience - from nature spots to cosy pubs :-)

It is a family property furnished with everything for comfy stay and will be very attractive for cooking lovers. It also has got balcony- for having a morning coffee (in warm season). A beautiful natural vacation home with sauna by the lake. Perfect for eight people. Owners live in the other house nearby (can be seen in pictures). Whole vacation home is at guests disposal. On the property is volley ball, basketball, beach and plenty of green space. There is also a possibility to rent a boat and go around the lake. The lake is located about 90 m from the house in direct line. Private beach is about 150 m form the house across the road.

We were delighted to visit Kārlis's accommodation. Kārlis and his wife were friendly and welcoming. Everything was very nicely set up and clean. The shower was good. Apart from normal kitchen appliances there is also a freezer available, which may be useful for longer stays. Our child had the possibility to play and run in the back garden. The location is a peaceful residential area some kilometres from the town centre. There is a decent sized grocery store some 7 minutes walk from the house.
