Family-friendly vacation rentals in Ko Yao District

The Host is very responsive. We booked the hotel transportation service from the Host, it was well organized. The hotel staff are very friendly, they prepared the baby cot for us in advance. The listing location is nice, very suitable for a staycation. We love the Thai cuisine in Panwa House, one of the hotel restaurant. The white sand and beautiful scene is unique. We'll come back definitely.

We just spent two amazing weeks at Melinas Guest House near Krabi, Thailand, with our family, including our three children with partners and six grandchildren. Having the entire resort to ourselves created a special atmosphere for our gatherings. The staff at Melinas Whale Bar were fantastic, providing exceptional service throughout our stay. The location right on the beach, with stunning views and breathtaking sunsets, made for unforgettable moments as we enjoyed sundowner drinks while the kids swam in the sea. We highly recommend Melinas Guest House for a fantastic family vacation and can’t wait to return!

The house was absolutely amazing with a relaxing ambiance, pictures do not do this place justice. We loved spending time outside by the pool and in the garden watching the wildlife. The house is situated in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood away from noise, we liked the privacy. Inside the clean living area is spacious with a huge spotless kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host was very friendly and responsive allowing flexible check in/out times . The house is perfect for a family vacation or a couple looking for a quiet place with privacy.

The villa was comfortable and very spacious. It is a part of a hotel property but it is a separate building where you can park right next to the villa. It is in an awesome location, near several national parks and caves to explore. Also Khao Sok is only an hour away. Just a few meters from front door is a very large swimming pool. Larger than most hotel pools. Every morning, I put on my swim goggles to swim laps which was such a treat. We also, used the pool in the evening after a day of adventure. Most of the time, we had the pool to ourselves. It was majestic cooling off and looking up at the limestone towers behind the property. We even saw monkeys one night! Thames was the perfect host. He was very proactive and made sure we had everything we needed. He and the staff here were so friendly, kind, and helpful. When we were leaving my wife said she was going to miss this place. I agree. It is very special here because it is the kind of place you just feel happy to be.

It's impossible to describe how happy we were at this wonder place! There is no way a picture can capture the view, the feeling, and comfort this home has to offer. The expansive panoramic view was breathtaking, especially from the salt water pool. Calling local Masseuse for a private poolside session is what I recommend as well. Khun Bha ( house keeper ), can arrange that for you. Sri Panwa staffs were all very friendly, and always so helpful. All the amenities were available for us to use and easy to get access to by the Took Took provided by the resort. Khun Bha, was so wonderful and sweet, she was so resourceful and had all the knowledge of Phuket. Plus she is a good cook. I cried when we had to leave, it really feel like I was leaving my family. She really made the stay feel like visiting family. We are looking forward to coming back again. Thank you so much Bruno for sharing this little heaven with my family.

Flexible check-in, very accommodating, great accommodation!

Pook responds to all questions and is an amazing host overall. Her stay has everything you need and is very clean! Room smelled nice and came with snacks. It's convenient to get to from the airport using the airport bus, which cost 100baht. There is also a bus stop at Central Mall which can take you to Patong beach. There's another bus stop (it's pink) in front of a 7/11 that can take you to Karon and Kata with a 7 minute walk as well. For this stop you have to make a left when you exit the condo and follow the walk path walk straight until you see it. No need to cross to Central side.

We had a great time with the whole family at the glasshouse. Kids spent half their time in the pool and the rest at the beach which is 3 minutes walk from the house at kids speed. Bradley and his staff helped us arrange a chef which was great, and the super friendly guys from Taj Mahal restaurant downstairs ended up sending the dishes up to the house :D I would say the best is that the house is quiet. Not much neighbors, no parties or anything going on at the beach, and only a few tourists around. Great if you want to spend some relaxing time with your family away from the crowds which is priceless during peak season

Nice little stay and everybody was friendly.

I had a great stay at Calm. Although it might be hard to get to if you don't have any transportation of your own, but in our case we rented a car and it was quite easy to reach. Check-in went very smoothly, we've arrived and were shown the place and even got some recommendations for food in the area. The house itself is clean and very well equipped with good and fast WiFi, TV, Bluetooth speakers, large fridge and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Of course the area is also beautiful and we even had bean bags on the pontoon in front of the house to watch the view. Highly recommend staying here!

Really beautiful location for a cabin in the jungle - suuuuuper private location so you feel completely alone and in touch with nature. we saw monitor lizards, frogs, a green snake and birds. getting to the cabin is difficult unless you’re comfortable on a bike or you drive. the hill is really steep and bendy and very tricky if it’s raining - my partner and i got caught in the rain whilst riding up and it was a bit freaky - but this has nothing to do with Adul and is just something to note when going here. if you’re new to bike riding then avoid, you’ll struggle to get up and down the hill. The fuse box blew for us at around 1am and we figured out where the issue was ourselves - thankfully the tripped fuse was in the garden, and not internal, so we were okay. You’re out in the country side, electrics failing is normal sometimes. the inside has a wicked TV and sound system, gorgeous balcony/patio and a nice pool. would stay again! 💗

Lovely space to spend some quiet time in Phuket. About 30 min drive to all the attractions. Would stay again.

Hands down the best place to experience the true colors of rural Thailand, fair distance from all attractions and the most beautiful sights to see in and around the home. Absolutely wonderful stay. Must visit.

Great Location, easy to find and easy check in and check out loved it there, loads of local thai restraints to choose from, only 10 min drive to phuket town or 20 mins to rawai beach, place very clean plently of space highly recommended, host is amazing and help with all of our needs. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We felt like home in Ecovilla and had a wonderful time in the bungalow. Loved being in nature, taking a dip in the creek every day. Swimming with the otters was the highlight for the kids! David & Nim are the best hosts ever! So attentive & helpful! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay! Missing Ecovilla already and can't wait to come back one day!

Absolutely the best! Booked a really last minute stay and within just a few hours, Ann personally welcomed us at the gate, showed us around in the complex and helped us check in! Ann really deserves the title of a Superhost: she is kind, responds really quick and truly tries to make your stay as pleasant as possible. No standard messages and puts an effort in communication and the place itself! We immediately felt comfortable. The appartement is cozy, very clean, smells amazing and is very bright. No funny smells, even towels and sheets smell very good. Kitchen and cookingware are clean and in perfect condition. Comfortable chairs and couch and a decent size television so you can properly relax. The outdoor area with pool is very chill. Location is good: centrally located, very close to the big mall and a 7-eleven with All-cafe just 2 mins walk away. Would have stayed longer if possible and def would come back next time! 11/10 would recommend!

This was one of the best condo, located in the excellent area. Very cosy, quiet, beautiful. The apartment also was great, with full equipment. All the listed amenities are included. Gym is just perfect. Would love to stay again.

Good internet speed, very close to Central, very responsive host

The place is much better than the pictures allude to. And the view was quite remarkable. The area had a great number of restaurants and cafes nearby.

This was our absolute favorite accommodation throughout our entire trip! The location is absolutely beautiful, the pictures don’t even show how incredible it is. The service is 5 star, the entire villa is lovely and the pool was a wow moment. We opted for a private dinner in our villa and the food was the best that we had the entire 7 days in Thailand. You must stay here if you are in Krabi.

We really enjoyed this very quiet place, far from the hustle and bustle of Phuket, in a neighborhood that is not at all touristy but full of good surprises (beaches, restaurants, shops and local market…) Penchan and her husband are very kind and helpful, and we received plenty of good recommendations. We apologize to Penchan for the unacceptable behavior of our bungalow neighbor and we do not understand the lack of responsiveness of "Airbnb help"… during a very problematic situation with this neighbor!

We had the pleasure of spending a week in Lan's apartment and I have to say it was an amazing experience! The bed was exceptionally comfortable, which made every night relaxing. The apartment offered a lot of space, which allowed us to feel free and comfortable. The Internet worked great, so you can work if someone needs to. The swimming pool and gym were a great addition, ideal for recreation and maintaining physical activity. The view from the balcony was breathtaking – every day we could admire the beautiful landscapes. The apartment was perfectly equipped, which made us feel at home. The host was extremely helpful and friendly, which made our stay even more pleasant. We wholeheartedly recommend the stay – we will definitely come back!

Great place with a great view from the window of the chic pool! Inside there is everything you need except liquid hand soap and a hairdryer (the one in the room turned out to be burned). There is a big Lotus and a big shopping center nearby. The only disadvantage is that it will be hard without a bike. There is nothing within walking distance. 7-eleven is a 10-minute walk one way. Polly is a lovely host and a good person. She didn't bother me and helped when necessary. I paid $400 for 9 nights, I think it's very expensive and for this money you could find options in good hotels. But since the need for housing was urgent - there was no time to choose.
