We paid high dollar for a resort prior to going to Thongsee”s place and her spot was a million times better! So clean, wonderful room and pool, and a everyone was so nice, thank you!

We had a lovely stay, too short for our liking, if we have the opportunity to return to the island, we will surely stay there again.

We were glad to stay at mai kaew resort. The place is peaceful, surrounded with a beautiful garden. The room was spacious and tidy. For commuting, scooter is a must.

A small peaceful haven facing the sea and on an almost deserted beach. Super comfortable bed, lovely hotel staff. Practical information: 2 small bottles of water per day / safe for a 16-inch laptop / free transfer from Saladan Pier to the hotel / free kayak / the restaurant is super good but in my opinion the small breakfast supplement is not worth €12 per person / the hotel can book a tuk-tuk transfer or to the airport for a fee, just ask them. The hotel is really at the end of the world 😅 so you either have to have a vehicle or you have to want to enjoy the calm which was my case.

This small hotel is an amazing find. I will be returning every year for sure. The facilities are very well constructed. The gardens are beautiful. The suites are comfortable. The gardens are beautifully landscaped with amazing trees, bushes, and flowers. The swimming pool is awesome and always available. The restaurant, open for breakfast and lunch, is absolutely outstanding. The service is impeccable and the food is fresh and delicious. Beaches are within walking distance. Other restaurants for night time use are within walking distance. The entire area is very quiet and peaceful. The whole island is clean and the people are amazingly friendly. Actually, I do not want to go home to the chaos. This is a great find and very affordable as well. The best time to come here is during the high season which is November - March. Do not come at other times, because I will be here at some point, and I want the place to myself (just kidding, kind of.). This is a great retreat.

Beautiful place to stay! I enjoyed my time here so much I didn't want to leave. The views and surroundings where so peaceful. Having a view over the water and watching the sunset made my stay beautiful! Staff and Thai neighbour's were so lovely and friendly! Very well located hotel, right next to the beach and very good restaurants. We were upgraded, our room was not available right away. The staff is great, we booked an excursion at a very good price, they are very responsive, 😊 the room was very clean and the pool is a real plus!

We spend 3 nights and wish we had booked for longer. If you are looking for a peaceful beautiful place this is the right place. Also all the staff was very friendly
