Very convenient, downtown location. The room itself was clean, appealing and cozy. It was above a bar, only thing that could’ve been better was noise. Even with ear plugs in you could still hear the music from the bar below. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend.

A comfortable room features a spacious bed with crisp linens and a bedside lamp. A small shelf unit is positioned against the wall, alongside a chair and kitchenette area with a microwave. A window allows natural light to brighten the space, with a door leading to the washroom.

Elsie's was a sanctuary in the middle of Masset—easy access to the main street, grocers, and farmer's market. The place was spotless and homey. I will definitely be staying again, and it is Indigneous-owned and operated by an artisan, chilkat weaver and overall lovely lady, Elsie!

Jeremy was very responsive and all our needs were met. The suites are right on Main Street and were perfect for our needs! There are so many cute things around and the Alpenhorn Bistro downstairs has amazing food! Very highly recommend.

Great place to stay right in town easy walking distance to everything I needed.Beds were sooooooo comfortable and place extremely clean. lots of things to keep you entertained in shared dining area if you need to sit and relax

I can’t thank Elsie enough for her hospitality. I had to be in Masset for work, and chose a place close to where I was working. After staying at Gwaii Naay, I can tell you I’d stay there again in a heartbeat no matter where I was working on the island. Pre arrival communication was fantastic. When I arrived at Gwaii Naay I wasn’t really sure what to expect… but I was met by a smiling lovely face as I opened the door to the front desk area and then I realized it was going to be a great trip. The room was clean, cozy and quiet. I had access to a full kitchen, which came in handy as a lot of food places in Masset had closed for the winter. Elsie was such a great resource for things to do and see during my down time… I left with so much knowledge of the area and an absolute yearning to go back- and am looking forward to Gwaii Naay being a base for my future adventures.
