Tatami room for 2-3 people

敏宇Rating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The host has a high level of English and is quite enthusiastic. Although the house is far from the center of Osaka, if you plan to visit Kyoto at check-in time, it will be troublesome, but the house is very close to the subway station and very close to Nara. The room is very clean, it is also very suitable for people who want to experience tatami, good value for money.
The exterior of the guesthouse features traditional architectural elements with a charming thatched roof. A bamboo fence and decorative stones enhance the front garden. Bicycles are neatly lined up alongside the building, offering convenient access for guests.

Mr. Asato is a great host. We were able to leave our luggage there uncomplicatedly earlier and he was very friendly and helpful and also gave us great advice on our further trip! His tips were really good. In addition, the accommodation is extraordinarily well equipped and very clean. Also the atmosphere was great. We were immediately welcome and very comfortable! We'd pick this place again anytime right away. Thank you for the great time!

Wooden beds room in Traditional Japanese House

FrançoisRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Yuya's "Bed & Bicycle" guesthouse is a wonderful place to stay. I liked it being at the foot of the hills but still within a 30 mn reach of the center of Ōsaka. Yuya is extremely knowledgeable and kind. He answered my endless questions on his region and Japan in general (his being a geographer was clearly a plus) and was always keen to recommend me places to go. He even picked me up at the station and helped me with ticket issues. The guesthouse is pristine clean, in particular the bathroom, which is always important to me. I'll stay again at Yuya's place for my next visit to Ōsaka, that's for sure.

Nara, JR Koizumi station, whole house plan

JodieRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
I had an incredible experience on Airbnb. The house was spacious, cozy, and charming. The neighborhood was serene and tranquil. The host was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, sharing information about nearby conveniences and beautiful spots for cherry blossom photos. They also offered a massage service at a great price of just 4000 Yen per hour, which my parents thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend this place for families of 4 to 6, especially for those traveling by car.

2F Sakura & River House/Non-smoking/3 min to JR Station/Next to Sakura Park/9 min to Tennoji/22 min to Namba/Convenient to USJ and Nara

We stayed in Yao, Osaka at the Sakura River House, and had a wonderful time! Nei was our host, and everything went smoothly from the start. The house is in a super convenient location, just a short walk from the train station. Some people might be bothered by the sound of passing trains, but it didn’t bother us at all. Being so close to the station made it really easy to get around. One of the best parts was that it’s right by the river, where a whole stretch of cherry blossoms (sakura) were in full bloom—which was the main reason we chose this area. The weather was perfect during this time—nice and cool, ideal for walking around and taking in the scenery. Inside the house, the tatami mats were very comfortable and cozy, and we had great nights of rest. There’s also a FamilyMart nearby, which was super handy for grabbing quick bites or drinks. Overall, this was a great base for our time in Yao. We’d definitely stay here again, especially during cherry blossom season!

It was a place to stay that I felt like I was staying in Nara. The exterior and interior were very clean and we had a good stay. I'd love to stay here again if I get the chance.
A traditional Japanese shrine is visible through a wooden torii gate. The structure features a prominent roof adorned with decorative elements, set against a backdrop of lush greenery. Lanterns hang from the eaves, illuminating the serene courtyard of gravel.
