Guest-House-Suginoko(Chartered one building)

This is only for the truly adventurous that want to experience mountainous rural Japan with the most traditional experience possible. Emiko-san makes the most authentic traditional shikoku dinner and breakfast which is truly unforgettable. The hut is a beautiful preservation of traditional Japanese homes, renovated with a wide front facing glass wall that gives full view of the surrounding mountains. Hitoshi has also renovated the outside bath with a modern sink and provides clean towels etc. that you would expect of any modern accommodation, but it’s paired with the old Japanese wooden bath tub which Hitoshi fills with hot mountain water. But it’s important you know what you sign up for. It’s 1-2 hrs of winding and narrow mountain roads which we were lucky to do in the dry season. It would be quite horrifying in heavy rain. If you want real Japan and aren’t scared for a bit of adventure, this is an experience you won’t regret.

Easily Accessible・Quiet Residential Area

Rating, 5 stars1 week ago
The host, K Sang, was so kind to me throughout my stay. I was able to enter early without any problems during the process of adjusting the check-in time. She also taught me how to make tea and how to make onigiri. I think it's a big advantage to be able to use the food in the shared kitchen at this property. And the best part was K's thoughtful consideration and her English skills. Her English skills are not difficult to communicate, and she was happy to provide me with an umbrella and a raincoat. I think it's an absurdly good value for the money. I wanted to come to this accommodation if I come to Tokushima next time or plan to live for a month. And the bikes provided were also very good. And she recommended me some restaurants, and they were all great. Thank you for making a happy trip. I hope you are always healthy and I hope to see you again next time.

An original sake brewery built in the late Edo period

The location and property was fantastic. We were looking for a unique experience in a mountain vilage and thats exactly what we got. Ikuko san was very welcoming and went out of her way to arrange special bedding requirements for my elderly mother. We were even given fresh local eggs, butter and bread upon arrival. Would definitely reccomend.

Earth Veloビル一棟貸! 各階に風呂トイレあり! 評価地域No.1 13名までOK

I used it with 3 families of friends. The reply was quick, and they answered my questions thoroughly, and they also recommended a parking lot, which was helpful. The kids started exploring from the moment they entered the room.I enjoyed the many rooms and the stairs like a maze. It was helpful that there were cups, plates, paper cups, wraps, frying pans, and even seasonings. One bottle of water per person was also helpful. The bed was comfortable, and there were a lot of hair irons, lotions, tissues, etc., and it was well cleaned. If I had to say something I wished for, I would like the shower pressure to be stronger, and since there was only one room with a TV, I thought it would be nice to have one on each floor. However, overall, all three families were very satisfied and would definitely stay again.I was talking about it.

Kumano Nakahechi "MINE-no-Yado" Mine own house

This was probably the best Airbnb experience I have ever had. Kay is a gracious host, he picked us up and dropped us off in the morning- and even drove an extra 10 minutes to make our lives easier. He was super responsive but didn’t hover. The place is more beautiful than in the photos.

Although the house is a little far from the tram station, it is about a 15-minute walk, but it is very close to the Apo Dance Hall, which makes it easy for us to watch the nighttime performance at less people's time. The house has two bedrooms, so we can rest without disturbing each other, the living room kitchen is also large, and the kitchen is fully equipped. The house is also very close to the supermarket, which is very suitable for a relaxing and relaxing vacation here.I'll definitely stay here again next time!
