Vacation rentals in Kiowa County

Rustic, cute & charming. I booked last minute and still received great communication from the host. I was out adventuring in the heat all day, the hot shower was perfect way to unwind and the cold water in the fridge was an amazing touch. I enjoyed the decor and little notes around the cabin. The bed was comfy and I was very relaxed here. I noticed the casino across the roadway within walking distance, but I was too tired to go try my luck, ha! There was a perfect sunset to cap off my day. For those that are traveling the Lazy Buffalo is close to Medicine Park, the Wichita Wildlife Refuge, Lawton and Fort Sill if you need to attend an Army graduation. I would definitely stay at the Lazy Buffalo again next time I am passing through. Thanks!

Absolutely a gem! Loved this place - quaint, peaceful, friendly, comfortable! Host was fantastic, dedicated, and responsive. Loved the stargazing, music wall, map, theme, mural, bean bag toss - and even Dirt’s Bar next door and casino across the street! Lots to do in the area, which we thoroughly enjoyed! Comfortable beds, large clean showers, and homey! We will return.

Perfect location close to everything we needed as we visited family in the area. Even got to watch the AF planes from the front porch! Beautiful home in excellent condition.

3PM to 11AM one-day stay was too short to hear enough history of missile program, site, and how it was constructed; I could have listened all day long to the very well-informed host. FASCINATING, but we keep thinking of more questions! This is an experience like no other, especially if you grew up during the Cold War era. Don't pass up a chance to see this place. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Plan on driving 30-40 minutes for a good dinner (semi-average dining nearby), or BYO groceries. Traveling from eastern to western Oklahoma provides an opportunity to see the very wide range of landscapes in Oklahoma, and even the terrain within a 40-mile radius provides a good introductory snapshot of landscape variability.

We had a short stay at the ‘Seek n Snore’ but was very perfect for our trip. Julie was very responsive in a few questions I had as this was my first Airbnb experience. She provided easy instructions to enter the unit (we arrived at night time and left early AM). Unit has a Kcup coffee unit to allow us to have some before we got back on the road. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we were in the area. On our way out, we took a slight detour through the Wildlife Refuge, super cool experience in the early morning with multiple buffaloes near the road side. High recommend!

Every aspect of this property and the people who run it were great, a true delight. It would have been totally perfect if the thunderstorm had not passed through one night we were there. But hey, it's Oklahoma after all!
