Great family travel type with a spacious and bright room with a view of the farmhouse.The projection for the living room is good for casting YouTube.The kitchen is fully equipped and you need to bring your own oil and salt sauce.Bathroom soaking equipment is used and does not match the instructions.Checking in was somewhat cumbersome and I hope the entry process could be streamlined.

it was easy to locate the place, free parking is available, the place is comfortable and we had a good rest. overall it is a comfortable place to stay.

Yuko-san was great. She sent photos of the turn-off to get to the place, as it is not well-marked from the street. She met us upon arrival and showed us around. The road to approach the place is steep and narrow, and it was quite challenging to turn around at the end, even in a small car. We had an entire house, and it was quite spacious. Some areas seemed worn or older, and perhaps in the middle of a remodel, but it seemed fairly clean overall. Some of the ceilings were quite low, and passages between rooms were even lower. We had a couple of spiders as visitors, but nothing too strange for being in the country. The beds were quite hard, but I found some extra padding and was OK when I used that with the original bedding. It was nice to have an actual couch, too, as we haven't had many in our month in Japan. Yuko also had fresh produce and sauces we could eat/use for cooking. The kitchen was well-equipped and easy to use. Wifi worked well. We would gladly stay here again!

The house is very spacious and has all the amenities. Especially the kitchen is very good. There is an onsen to soak in. The house is private. Very good for families. There are convenience stores and supermarkets. The mattress is very comfortable if you have the opportunity to stay again.

Beautiful interior design, great amenities and outstanding private onsen, shower and bathtub. Very short walk to train, grocery store and attractions. Highly recommended, professional and friendly host.

Great location! Very walkable to all the sights around Yufu and surrounded by great restaurant options. Loved the open-roof onsen bath. The check-out of 12pm suited us well.

I recommend it The bedding, floor, bathroom, etc. are clean. On the first floor, there was a living room and bathroom, one room (2 single beds) on the second floor, and two more single beds outside the room. The bed outside the room had blinds to cover the lights at bedtime, so I could feel the attention to detail. I loved the hot spring bath inside the house that I pulled from the hot spring right in front of the house. My parents were also satisfied.

Shiki Villa is amazing! Everything you can imagine has been thought of, with such special extra little touches like a handwritten welcome note, face masks, water etc. the projector is awesome to have a movie night in! All the furniture and decorations are of the highest standard. One of the nicest Airbnb places we have ever stayed in. We had the best time exploring beautiful Beppu.

This place has the most amazing view! The location is up in the hills overlooking the city. I'd stay somewhere like this over any hotel. The place was super clean, the beds were very comfortable, the room with the rocking chair with giant windows overlooking the bay was my favorite. This place is so unique, the walls are made from coffee beans and leaves, the restaurant downstairs is adorable. The hosts were such lovley people, they made us breakfast in the morning that was so good and they sat and visited with us, we felt at home. This is a great place, if you're looking for a break from the crowds. We rented a car at Beppu Station and it worked out great. Highly recommend staying here!
