Cabin vacation rentals in Kings County

The cottage was exactly what we were looking for, even better than we expected! We can’t wait to go back in the Fall. We think it will be awesome once the leaves begin to turn! Highly recommend for a mini retreat!

I liked that the drive was just about one hour from Halifax. The place was pet friendly. Hot tub was great. The sofa there is next level. I am purchasing the same sofa from my rec room. Overall our stay was great!

If you are looking for a place to kick back, relax and make some memories this is the place. The sunrises from the loft were magnificent- and the short walk to enjoy coffee on the lake was well worth it. Indoor and outdoor areas were well thought out, and just added to our overall experience. We will definitely be back :)

Lina and family were so friendly, kind, and accommodating. When we couldn’t figure out the fire table she was so quick to help us figure it out— to be very clear, it was definitely user error lol. The location was beautiful, the hot tub was divine. It was the best way to spend my 30th birthday. We are so impressed with the whole experience. Thank you times a million to our sweet host. :)

We had the best weekend at Archie’s Cabin! It was cozy, clean and had the comfiest beds. The outdoor shower was also very clean and a cool experience. Its also right on the water so I can imagine it is even better in the summer. Kit and her co-hosts were incredibly helpful and quick to respond to our questions (we had a power outage due to high winds - thank goodness for the indoor fireplace!). I would highly recommend this cute cabin for a getaway and we cant wait to come back this summer!

What a wonderful place to relax, watch the sunrise, the changing tides and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Anne’s seaside cottage. Regret I could not stay longer. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at the Nature Nook! One of my best memories will be of sitting on the deck in the peaceful early morning, drinking tea, reading my book and watching loons and ducks paddling around the lake. We were so delighted to see three adorable little river otters playing on the dock almost every day - my son loves otters!! The cottage was neat and immaculate, it had everything we needed, and Carla was really proactive with checking in if we needed anything else. Only suggested improvement might be a bluetooth stereo or a radio. Thanks for a really restful and relaxing stay!

This place was absolutely amazing and picture perfect, with private back dock, lake with canoe and kayak. Inside was new, clean, and had all amenities needed for a getaway away from home. Will defiantly rebook again.

To say we were satisfied is an understatement. We most definitely will be booking again to utilize in the summer season. We rented this time to be closer to the venue holding my sons wedding, and having such a wonderful home and hosts made is so much easier on us ❤️

Chelsey has developed an absolute hidden gem in Nova Scotia! If you are debating on coming here, don’t. The various types of tiny homes are incredibly unique, from all over the world. The bathroom facilities are excellent and the property has beautiful lake access, bikes, sauna, kayaks and so much to keep busy with. Super close to the valley for restaurants, wineries and breweries. Support this small business owner!

This cabin is in a very beautiful part of the world and is right by the lobster pound which made for a great experience. We were not prepared for how rustic the cabin is …. It’s not insulated so it was pretty chilly and we should have had the heaters set up. It was a nice stay and we did enjoy the space (particularly the beautiful hydrangeas) as well as the proximity to the ocean.
