The house, which is newly renovated and modernly decorated, is located about 25 minutes from Astrid Lindgren's Vimmerby and about 50 minutes from Västervik and the Småland archipelago. It offers all amenities and from the garden a path leads to the magical forest, a place for children and adults, for play and contemplation. Boat in its own small lake is included and a child-friendly swimming area can be reached in 10 minutes.

Inside the beautiful forest

You will find our cozy farmhouse, which is located between Kisa and Österbymo in Östergötland. If you like peace and quiet and also appreciate being close to forests, nature and lakes, then this accommodation is something for you. Experience the birdsong, hike on the adjacent hiking trail or just go straight out into the forest and pick berries and mushrooms, the choice is yours. The house is high, so you can see the sun from morning till night. About 300 meters from the house, there is a pond, where you can swim, fish or just row with the rowing boat.

Maison Juniper - Private cabin

Our quiet and stylish house is centrally located in Åtvidaberg with walking distance to swimming, golf course, shops, restaurants, forest areas and many other activities. The detached house is located on the plot of our larger residential house with access to patio and parking. In the nearby area, there are many excursion destinations. Close to Linköping, Norrköping and Västervik. About 2.5 hours to Stockholm and about 3 hours to Gothenburg. The house is best suited for the adventurous/active couple or small family. Enjoy a nature vacation far away from all the hustle and bustle. On a large secluded natural plot a short distance from the lake is this red, charmingly decorated cottage with high ceilings, stone fireplace and wooden furniture in an old-fashioned style. This vacation spot is absolutely perfect for both big and small nature lovers. If you are in shape, you will enjoy the beautiful walk or the short bike ride to the lake, where you have access to a private swimming area with boat & fishing. The forest also invites you to beautiful walks.

Today, it is a spacious and family-friendly accommodation with all the amenities for a relaxing stay. Here you live secluded, surrounded by silence and beautiful nature. Perfect for those who want to enjoy the forest, take a dip in nearby lakes or try their luck with fishing. The house offers a newly-renovated bathroom and several fireplaces.

Here you can relax in peace and quiet but still be close to shops and other facilities. You have large areas with lawns and proximity to the forest with nice walks right outside the door. Child-friendly nice swimming area is on the other side of the lake 1.5 km from the house. The house has three bedrooms upstairs with 2 beds in each room. On the ground floor, there is a toilet, two common rooms and a kitchen with all the necessary equipment for your stay, in the basement there is a washing machine and a shower room

Your stay with us has everything you could wish for. In an hour, you can get to Astrid Lindgren's World or Kolmården Zoo, Old Linköping is half an hour away. Nature is beautiful with the unique oak landscape. We see fallow deer daily and if you are lucky, the sea eagle may fly by. Our large lake system with swimming areas and canoe rentals. There are several nice golf courses to choose from. If you want, there is the possibility to book a sauna by the pool. Here you can greet horses, sheep, chickens and ducks.

Enjoy the tranquility of our idyllic cottage, surrounded by nature, with a cozy fireplace and beautiful views! We offer the possibility to borrow bicycles and rent a kayak and rowing boat. You can take a short walk to buy eggs or locally produced apple cider directly from the neighboring farmer, visit cows, horses, chickens and watch deer.
