Luxury Pod on Islay with Hot Tub

BebhinnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Thank you Rebecca for hosting us during Feis Ile! The pod was a great place to start and end our days with the hot tub and outdoor BBQ a real highlight. Everything was clean and well designed for the space and Rebecca was always responsive when asked but also gave us plenty of privacy throughout the week. The place was a close drive to Port Ellen and Bowmore as well, with a couple of local Coops within 10-15 minutes of driving.

The Wee Hoosie

CharlotteRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A great find, such a peaceful setting, very quite road so no traffic noise, an excellent outdoor area with chairs to sit, relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. The Wee hoosie is very clean and very well presented. Very clear directions for arrival which we had no problems finding. Kitchen area well equip with everything we needed. Some informative books of Islay with a great sections of the history of Port Charlotte. You can walk to Port Charlotte to walk for drinks and meal at one of the hotels with a footpath all the way. Had a fantastic time in Portnehaven watching the Seals. It’s also a great location for the RSPB nature reserve and to visit all the distilleries, we didn’t quite make it to them all but enjoyed a lovely 30min walk down the pedestrian path to Bruichladdich distillery which also does Gin tasting too!!! 100% recommend; thanks to Catherine for been a great host.

The Pod on the Hill

WhitneyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We had a wonderful time staying at the Pod on the Hill. Lillias was a phenomenal host—so helpful with directions, local recommendations, and even took the time to learn more about where we’re from in the US. The Pod was so cozy and comfortable, and the view of Port Ellen was absolutely stunning. We will definitely visit here again if we make it back to Islay!

Ideal for two people, and all facilities excellent. Great to have air fryer, hob and microwave, fridge ,washing machine, and hair dryer .Also really handy to have tea, coffee, orange juice, milk, butter and chocolate biscuits provided! As well as cooking oil etc. She has thought of everything. So much better than a hotel! Will definitely recommend and use again if we are back . Thank you.

A sandy beach stretches along the coastline, where gentle waves meet the shore. A few figures are seen walking along the water's edge, while others stroll further in the background. The scene is framed by rolling clouds above and a rocky outcrop in the foreground.

Beautiful coastal apt with spectacular views.

JustinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautiful and modern space, perfect for our family of four. Just steps from a small grassy park and free beach access. The neighborhood is a bit sleepy and so you'll probably have to run to the nearby town, about 15 minutes away, for restaurants.

Luxury Accommodation Views Over the Bay.

SoniaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We knew our stay here would be lovely based on the reviews, however it exceeded our expectations. All guests thought the house, location and setting was amazing including our little 10 month old baby. Comms with Caroline were seamless and the kitchen had multiple food items that were really appreciated. The Bayview hotel was a great nearby food and drink option and only a short stroll away, beautiful nearby beach too.

Hamilton House

KathyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Susan was a gracious and responsive host! The house is on a private cut de sac with views of the water (and sheep!). Perfect for one or two couples. Easy to use kitchen (for us Americans) with touch-screen stove. Full and master bath with great shower. Short walk to the Co-op for groceries or SeaSalt for dinner. Highly recommended.
