Rustic West Cork Barn

PeterRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Spent five nights in Teresa’s lovely well equipped barn set in beautiful countryside. She has clearly put a lot of thought into collecting furniture and other items to create a relaxing place to come home to. The kitchen has everything you need - we ate in several times and appreciated the local bread, milk, butter, and marmalade which she provided. Although the weather wasn’t kind to us, we enjoyed the area and meeting the friendly locals. Everyone should eat at ‘The Church Restaurant’ in Skibbereen - great atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent food. (pre book). It was good to meet Teresa and learn a little about the creation of the barn. Thanks Teresa, for a comfortable relaxing stay.

Cottage in historic courtyard

PabloRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago

Fantastic host. Very comfortable warm home. Parking right outside the door. Everything as described. Close to city but still lovely and secluded. Will definitely return. Highly recommend.

Lee Valley Cottage, great views

CurranRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Phil was a wonderful host. Very proactive and responsive to any inquiries. The cottage itself is BEAUTIFUL inside and out. All amenities listed are present and functional, with extra noted! (for American visitors - the washing machine is odd and takes several hours to run a small load... just fyi in case anyone needs doing laundry!) This was our favorite airbnb stay during our trip. About 45 minutes drive to Cork city and an hour to 2 hours to local natural beauty sites.

The Stables, Barn Conversion

CynthiaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Hester and Peter are great hosts. Hester greeted us upon arrival, and she offered many suggestions for outings, supermarkets and restaurants/pubs. She also generously provided some delicious treats in addition to kitchen staples. When we met Peter, he had many great and helpful suggestions, too. Peter and Hester arranged a fishing experience for my husband, and he thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon with his fishing guide! We enjoyed our time at the Stables. We were very comfortable. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom are great, and the surroundings are beautiful. We definitely hope to return to enjoy more adventures in the area.
