John’s house is an absolute gem of a property. A beautiful quiet location with the village right on the doorstep and with sea views - what more could you ask for! The house is immaculately kept and is so comfortable. It’s very spacious and lots of thought has gone into the detail so you can switch off from your everyday life to your holiday life with ease. We highly recommend this property if you are heading to the sunny south coast.

This was the perfect combination of "rural" and "suburban". On a peaceful, country lane, away from the bustle of Tipperary, yet only a 5 minute drive to all the shops and conveniences one would need. Surrounded by sheep, cattle, horses and meadows, it is the quintessential Irish property. Thoughtfully remodeled, it provided all the modern necessities without losing its basic charm. Mary was immediately available to answer questions, and provided excellent feedback. The house itself is well arranged, comfortable, and welcoming...small, but roomy enough so as not to feel crowded. The two fireplaces were a wonderful bonus. Our only issue is the size of the main bedroom. Having to deal with the original floor plan during the remodel, the "master" bedroom is large enough for only a double bed - barely. I only wish I had found out about Mary's other Airbnb rental - in Dublin - before we rented someone else's there. I'm sure hers would have been MUCH nicer than the one we ended up renting!

Great place and host, so friendly and welcoming. Met us and showed us around and lit the wood burner, so very cosy. Great night sleep so quiet and comfortable beds. Left us lots of food and introduced us to the new calves in the morning. All just wonderful thank you

What a great house to stay at. Plenty of space in such a great location. Quiet and peaceful with the Blackrock town only a short walk away. Recommend the breakfast roll from On A Platter at the end of the block. Connie provided some unexpected staples making settling easy. She also put in a lot of effort to get the booking admin right for us. The beds were really comfortable which was quite welcome compared to other AirBnBs on our Europe holidays. We will be back. Our stay at Flo’s cottage was amazing! The cottage is cozy, beautiful yard, hammocks available, she even stocked the fridge with a few goodies for our arrival! There was a list of nearby pubs, restaurants, and take aways. We were fully stocked with wood for the stove and it was lovely to have in the evenings. Overall I highly recommend this delightful hideaway in the Irish countryside, everything about it is just wonderful! Thanks again Flo!

Our stay at Ewe cottage within Ballymaloe was nothing short of magical. Nestled amidst breathtaking surroundings, the estate offers private walks that allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in nature's beauty. Access to the hotel swimming pool and restaurant was exceptional, serving incredible food and adding an extra touch of luxury. The cottage itself was pristine, well-equipped, and incredibly cosy, providing the perfect retreat. Robyn as a host was excellent, exceptionally responsive with clear communication and kindly offered lots of recommendations which made our stay even more special. If we could offer more than five stars to the review, we absolutely would! This is a real gem that we cannot recommend highly enough. We can't wait to return!

We really enjoyed a peaceful few days in Niall's place in late October. We are a family of four with kids aged 8 and 6. The cottage was very cozy with stoves and plenty of fuel. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed. We slept well in really comfortable bedrooms. The surroundings are so peaceful and the additional facilities of the barn with table tennis, sports equipment, games, etc really added to the experience. The cottage is well located and within an hours drive in any direction there is lots to visit. The local village is very nice with two lovely pubs and a picturesque harbour

Amazing place! Thanks David! Very nice to be out of the touristy areas. Great coffee a short walk away at Brindle, not to mention the French press in the kitchen! The Indian restaurant downstairs was amazing! Great walk/jog path along the canal a block away. I hope to get to visit again! Aloha!

We had such a lovely time on the maud gonne boat. A lovely relaxing experience(once we got the hang of driving the boat) Siobhan was so friendly and welcoming when we arrived. She went through everything about the boat with us and how to drive it which after a while was a breeze. If we needed anything we were able to text Siobhan and she would get back to us in no time. I have to give a special mention to sean at the fishermans pub, what a gentleman. He gave us a tour around the pub and was so knowledgeable and interesting to speak to. Me and my partner thoroughly enjoyed this trip, the comfort of the boat, waking up in nature to beautiful surroundings and sounds, and all the wildlife we saw along the way. We cannot wait to return.

We absolutely loved this house. Really cosy inside and with great outside space also. The location is great too! Beautiful part of the country and really accessible to everywhere with courtesy buses to local pubs and restaurants. Host amazing with communication on access, local interests etc and always so quick to respond to any queries . We really hope to go back to this place again.
