Villa EDGE – A luxurious stay in an entire house In Owase, surrounded by the sea, mountains, and rivers, this is a private rental limited to one group per day. You can enjoy a free BBQ set and a campfire in the garden, or fully enjoy nature while rocking in a hammock on the 20-tatami mat wood deck. The spacious living room is equipped with a Bluetooth speaker built into the ceiling. You can relax while playing your favorite music. Access to the World Heritage Site, Kumano Kodo, and the Choshi River, known as the Miracle River, is also good, making it the perfect base for sightseeing on the Kii Peninsula. In a quiet environment surrounded by nature, you can enjoy time as if you were staying in your own private villa. Guesthouse Agae is a limited stay for one group that has been renovated from an old private house.Located in a very convenient location, about 550 meters (about a 7-minute walk) from the Kumano Kodo and Kinro-Oji, and within a 1-minute walk of a supermarket (A-COOP), a bus stop (Kodo Aruki no Sato Chikatsuyu), and a restaurant (Tororoya). The owner is a local Kumano Kodo guide, so we will do our best to accommodate questions, advice, and pick-up and drop-off when you need it.We can also provide a personal guide, so please feel free to consult us. "Genki House", a house near Kumano Hongu-Taisha

It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. You'll have some loaves of bread from our bakery(^^)/ （If you don't eat bread please let me know beforehand)

Ocean View Retreat in a Quiet Fishing Village

This is a private, whole-house guesthouse located in the quiet fishing village of Nigishima, Kumano City, Mie Prefecture. On the way to Nigishima, you’ll be greeted by the deep blue ocean known as “Kumano Blue,” and the house sits overlooking the calm waters of Nigishima Bay. To reach the house, you will need to climb approximately 50 steps (about a 5-minute walk), but a beautiful view and peaceful atmosphere await you at the top.

Mikiura Guesthouse

Reservation start from 2 person / 2 nights minimum. We accept only one group at a time so you will have exclusive use of the entire property. Guesthouse is a typical old Japanese house, not like a resort Hotel or Ryokan for business. We have no meal service. Mikiura village is surrounded by the clear blue sea and natural green mountains. You'll enjoy real Japan such as rural life experience, quiet time and beautiful nature.

The river is just a few minutes walk from the house which is the best place for chilling out, swimming with your family or family and enjoying water. 20 mins' drive from JR "Misedani" station and 60 mins' drive to the Osugidani Valley (one of the three greatest valleys in Japan).
