The owner is a local Kumano Kodo guide, so we will do our best to accommodate your questions and advice about walking the Kumano Kodo, as well as pick-up and drop-off when you need it. Located on the southern slope of Mt. Myoho, one of the peaks in the World Heritage Kumano-Nachi mountain range, this is a mountain hut-style private accommodation with a 180-degree panoramic view of the mountains and the Kumano Sea spreading out below. The accommodation building has a traditional Japanese sunken kotatsu fireplace and a wood stove, so you can experience rural life, warm yourself by the wood stove, and be soothed by the flickering flames through the glass. Vegetables, blueberries, and fruit trees are grown on nearby farms, and you can experience picking them. We also raise chickens, so you can enjoy a slightly different morning egg rice with freshly laid eggs. You can also enjoy nature and refresh your mind and body in the midst of the seasonal scenery. 1 minute walk from Shingu Station. 2 minutes from the bus stop. It is a Japanese-style house with a small Japanese courtyard. You can try on valuable samurai armor, helmets, and bridal gowns (kimono)for free. The house is reserved for a group of 3 or more people per day. Please relax as if you were at home. We usually accept up to 8 people, but we can accommodate up to 10 people on request. There is a convenience store in front of the house, which is very convenient.

It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. You'll have some loaves of bread from our bakery(^^)/ (If you don't eat bread please let me know beforehand)
