Family-friendly vacation rentals in Phnom Penh

I have spent 5 weeks with my family living in the wonderful place - Tamarind Residence. I was working and my family was having vacations. We both enjoyed the place - I admired the quiet place to rest after work with stable internet in case of late working days. My family loved the pool, big green yard, TV and the spacious apartments. Tamarind Residence is new and very well equipped with everything that is needed for comfortable living from kitchen to laundry place, nice spaces for grills and terraces for dining. The host and other staff are very welcoming, attentive, helpful. Place is well maintained and all requests were quickly solved, advice given. There are guards all the time, so it feels very safe. Each bedroom have separate bathroom - enough privacy even when sharing the apartment. The apartment is outside of the city, but that was an advantage as well to me, because cities in Asia are quite noisy. We got familiar with other local people in the neighborhood, where in the morning bough fresh vegetables for cooking, coconuts for juice, etc. Nearby there are some places to go for dinner and SPA. Tuktuks drives with pleasure everywhere. We really enjoyed the stay and recommend very much to others. Furthermore, I hope that some time in the future, I could return and definitely stay there. It was such a blessing to come up with this apartment announcement!

Our family of five had a wonderful stay at this condo. It’s not right in the city center, but that’s exactly what made it so special. The location offers a more authentic Cambodian experience, surrounded by a quiet, safe neighborhood and a friendly local community. We loved exploring the nearby street market and experiencing daily life in a more relaxed setting. The condo itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable for our group. Everyone we met—both within the condo and in the neighborhood—was incredibly welcoming. A highlight of our stay was being invited to join the Cambodian New Year celebrations with local neighbors. It was such a memorable and heartwarming experience that made us feel truly at home. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay with a genuine local vibe, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommended for families!

Très satisfaits de notre séjour chez Sandrine. Nous sommes restés 1 mois. L’immeuble et l’appartement sont spacieux et confortables. Le personnel est serviable. Des commerces, supermarché moderne et petit marché khmer, sont accessibles à pieds dans la rue de l’immeuble.

Couldnt have asked for a better location with amazing views of the river. Many cafes and restaurants within walking distance. I spent hours just sitting on the balcony watching how locals spend their time by the riverside. The apartment itself is unique. The highlight was definitely the rooftop jacuzzi overlooking the river. The downside was the many stairs it took to get to the 4th floor. Definitely a good workout. Not the safest place for small kids as there are many steps and it is on the rooftop. The bedrooms were nicely done up and the beds were comfortable. A few issues with air con leaks and water supply in one of the rooms. I loved that each room had it's own kitchen. It's so self contained and ideal for a bunch of friends traveling together. The only major downside was the massive construction right next door which started at 730am and ended at 10pm. Lots of noise, dust and I didn't feel comfortable getting into the hot tub with dozens of guys around. Sleeping in was impossible too. Wish I had known before. Construction aside Borei's apartment is a great find and good value for money.

Sarin and Chef Nak were absolutely fantastic hosts! They were super responsive, told us which places to visit within Phnom Penh and also helped us hire a car to get around. One thing to note is that if you plan to go into the city often, the journey can take around 45 mins to an hour, given that the car has to cross a stretch of water by boat ($2 each way). In conversation, we mentioned to Sarin and Chef Nak that we are vegetarian and they were so considerate that they helped us buy fresh vegetables and even prepared a lovely welcome breakfast. Their place was perfect for a short and relaxing getaway, and the house itself was stunning. The only slight drawback was due to the heaters being solar powered, we didn’t really get much hot water for showers. All in all we couldn't have asked for better hosts than Sarin and Chef Nak :)

J'ai passé un mois merveilleux dans cet appartement à Phnom Penh, et je ne peux que le recommander vivement ! Le logement est très bien situé, offrant un accès facile aux principaux points d'intérêt de la ville tout en étant dans un quartier calme et agréable. L'appartement est spacieux, moderne et très bien équipé, avec tout le confort nécessaire pour un séjour prolongé. La décoration est soignée, et l'ambiance est vraiment chaleureuse et accueillante. Notre hôte Michael a été absolument exceptionnel : très réactif et disponible pour répondre à toutes mes questions. Il m'a également donné de très bonnes recommandations pour découvrir la ville, ses restaurants ainsi que ses différentes attractions. Que vous soyez en voyage d'affaires ou en vacances, ce logement est idéal. Je n'hésiterai pas à y retourner si l'occasion se présente. Un grand merci à Michael pour sa gentillesse et son hospitalité !

Très agréable séjour dans l appartement avec possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner et se restaurer au restaurant de la résidence, l appartement est situé dans un quartier vivant mais dans une rue très calme, le centre ville et les sites touristiques sont faciles d accès en Grab ou en Tuktuk. Merci à Michael et son équipe pour l accueil sympathique et les bons conseils pour explorer Phnom Penh !

We had an amazing stay! This was the nicest and most comfortable apartment we've stayed in our SEA trip so far. It's really spacious, like really spacious, a lot bigger than in the photos! Very tastefully decorated. Both air conditioners worked perfectly! The kitchen had the basics for a week stay, but I did find it annoying that one can't use the fire stove with two burners, just one electric ceramic plate which makes the cooking process longer. There is a washing machine and even detergent to do laundry 🥰 The pools are amazing, honestly life saving for those super hot days, we spent several afternoons at the pool and gym! The internet is good but sometimes it'd lag a bit when the two of us where using lightroom and teams, but overall was good.

Enjoyed my stay here. Had everything I needed. What I liked least was that the mattress was too firm but that's typical for this region. It's a Chinese construction so the quality was as expected. Otherwise, the pool was nice, the gym was adequate, and the aircon worked well. Very local area, walkable if you're familiar with Cambodia but more chaotic than other areas like BKK.

A strategic place to explore Chroy Changvar and neighbourhood. Most important of all, it is neat and comfortable, and it has all the necessary facilities of a home to function well daily - kitchen to cook, dining area, relaxing space, quite spacious bedroom and washing machine. 10 🌟’s I must say one of the best experiences I have had on Airbnb. The host is very respectful and responsive, they even gave me a list of place to visit and eat. The condo was amazing. I couldn’t get enough of the sunsets and beauty overlooking the city in the morning and especially at night. The amenities were perfect and everything worked properly in the condo and the amenties at the condo. The conscience of have a store in the building, wow, if you are a digital nomad you won’t even have to leave the condo complex. The staff is friendly all you have to do is smile and say hello in their language and they will love it, security is friendly as well. Overall it was amazing and I’ll be staying at one of their units everytime I’m in Phnom Penh. You will not regret it,great value , I can’t recommend this place enough

Beautiful apartment. Felt right at home. Squeaky clean. Had everything we needed. Host communication was great! Checked in on us, made sure our stay was perfect! Would 100% recommend.
