We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This AirBNB property is located in a great location. A short drive to town to enjoy the great restaurants & shopping. A very pleasant view of the water from the porch & dining area. A fantastic kitchen with all of the necessary amenities and a large table. The owner was extremely responsive and attentive to details. The most comfortable beds we have ever experienced! The price was very reasonable. We will definitely be staying at this property again & we are already recommending it to others. Thank you so very much Oscar!

I’m a local here and Ketchikan but needed a weekend to stay with my son and I until I could move in elsewhere. This is definitely the gem in Ketchikan ,easy to get to as advertised beautiful surroundings and the easiest way to get into the apartment you have to book it to find out what I mean..

An outdoor fire pit area is surrounded by wooden benches, providing a communal space for gatherings. Lush green grass is underfoot, complemented by towering trees in the background, creating a natural and serene environment.

The Diamond House, cozy home in park-like setting

Located 7 miles north from the airport ferry terminal, 10 miles north of downtown, and 5 miles from Knudson Cove and Clover Pass. One bedroom with a queen and a queen pull-out couch in livingroom . Single cot available upon request. Three couches and a smart TV. Kitchenette has cooking utensils/equipment, coffee maker, microwave, rice cooker, hotplate, electric skillet, ect. No stove. The “Diamond House” was built in the 80's by a local man named Mr. Diamond who was known for his smoked fish

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. Rainbird trailhead is 2 blocks up the street. Downtown is just a few miles away. The high school is across the street and perfect for sport teams coming to town. Each room is equipped with very comfortable beds to make your stay pleasant. This place is a gem of Ketchikan. This applies to short and long term stays. Very accommodating and makes you feel at home with everything they provide. I have NO complaints or critiques of the home, I just think that anyone renting should know about the drive up. It is a steep driveway up, but once you get there it’s worth it! Renters were extremely receptive for anything we needed and had quick responses. The history and location is magic!

Shared space with hosts and other guests. The hosts have an off schedule, so they aren't around much. Beautiful back porch to see down to the water. Heidi provided breakfast foods which were great and convenient to be able to have a nice breakfast of eggs and toast before heading out for the day. Their dogs are cute but do jump up on you initially. Walkable from downtown. Uphill to and downhill from.

A great option to stay outside of town, right next to the ocean with bald eagles nesting nearby and whales cruising past. extremely safe and quiet area, zero road noise, very close to hiking trail. The drive to town is beautiful and easy.

Dena is amazing! The family enjoyed visiting in “our Alaska house.” The host went out of her way to be welcoming and had some great local recommendations. We hope to visit and stay there again soon.

Joe and Gale were the best goat you could ask for. Very friendly and treated you like family. They joined us for drinks around dinner the outdoor fire pit and got to know them and had great conversation. If you want a family style home the Joe has the place. Would recommend to any traveller type. Great location as we went fishing g and the boats are just down the street. Great trip. The house is always clean and amenities are there.
