Abbivale farm cottage is a lovely tranquil retreat situated 18kms out of Denmark along the Scotsdale Tourist drive. Our place is suitable for discerning adults (up to 4 people). Children are welcome but due to unfenced dams, it is may not be suitable for younger children (under 6). Relax in peaceful surroundings amongst the karris & the gum trees. Blue wrens & kangaroos are plentiful & often emus! - perfect surroundings to relax & unwind. Close by to vineyards,walks & other tourist attractions.

Our 125 acre property backs onto the Porongurup Ranges, with views from the cottages and north to the Sterling ranges, (40 min drive), The Granite Skywalk is a short drive from the property. Views are spectacular from the top, south to Albany and North to The Sterling Ranges. The cottages are located over 500 meters back from the road on our farm, allowing guests to enjoy the peace and quiet. Our other 2 cottages are Kestrel (adults only)& Boobook

There are local food outlets & winery's that are open on limited days. Mount Barker is 25 klm away & a good place for food & fuel. Telstra has the best coverage here & Internet and television is via satillite. Bluff Knoll & Albany are 40 klm away, with no services inbetween. We can provide milk, on request.

Five bedrooms, two living rooms, two bathrooms (one with shower over bath). Plenty of room for everyone. Spacious and comfortable home with lots of amenities. We don’t charge a cleaning fee and our rate is $170 per night for the first two guests and $30 per guest after that. The house is not set-up for young children, however they are welcome. There is no wifi at the house (NBN issues) however you may be able to hotspot through your phone to your our smart tv’s.

We especially enjoyed pairing the wine and chocolate provided while enjoying a picnic on the private jetty overlooking the dam and surrounds. Such a treat! Love the place. Has everything. Laundry detergent, clothes hanging rack indoor and outside on the verandah, outdoor sitting, bbq pit and fire pit. Love the fresh bread and eggs in first morning. Delicious. Peaceful surroundings. Surrounded by nature. Amazing view. Excellent place to relax, chill and be in peace.

Simply stunning! If you love peace, natural beauty and a carefully crafted rustic retreat, this is for you. Spacious living areas and seamless indoor outdoor flow. Lovely bathrooms and kitchen, which was well equipped. The private studio was a treat. Very comfy beds and quality linens. Overall, highly recommended and we are already planning our next stay!
