A wonderful house with beautiful surroundings. We've loved our stay in Solingen! Anna and Max are very friendly, helpful and sweet. We highly recommend it.

Had a great stay and everything was exactly as described. The cottage is very well equipped and Dorothee welcomed us warmly. Small note: you hear the rooster in the morning if you sleep with the window open, at least on the side of the chickens, so real village life.

A very nicely decorated, listed cottage in a former workers' settlement, we felt very welcome.

It was quite easy to find, the host was very kind and met us around 20:30. The place itself was spotless clean and had everything that was listed. Additionally, the kitchen, bathroom and sauna were pristine cleaned. The glass in the bathroom was so clean for a moment we thought that were was no glass. Sauna was excellent and we even started a nice little fire one day. Very peaceful with allot of opportunity for hiking and nature. And very easy connection to Dusseldorf via the train with free parking at the train station in the small town. Would go back again without a doubt.

There were five of us in the house. Four spacious rooms for sleeping and a large living-dining area on two levels offered plenty of space to feel comfortable. There was nothing missing, neither in the kitchen nor in the bathrooms. Even spices were available. The pretty garden and terrace invited you to linger. The communication was very good. Always happy 😊

Very nice holiday home: very spacious, very well equipped and comfortable, cozy decor, very neat, nice garden, quiet location, beautiful views, good base for walks and close to a larger city. We loved our stay here and can definitely recommend this home.

We were looking for a stay near Phantasialand and this house is a half hour drive from there. The house was neatly clean and has everything you need. The stairs are indeed very narrow which was no problem for us, but do not bring large suitcases. The toilet is in the bathroom, so you also have to go upstairs. Airplanes do indeed sometimes fly very low. This is an impressive sight during the day, but you can wake up at night. You can charge an electric car on your own property. The access to the parking spaces is a bit tight. But all in all, we had a great time here as a family of 4! Thanks Andreas!

We felt very comfortable in the beautiful manor house with our family. Especially the very well and comfortably equipped kitchen gave us cozy hours, as well as the very cozy living room. We were completely satisfied, communication with the hosts was very pleasant and straightforward and we can recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a cozy weekend with 10 or more people. Thanks a lot!

Great place to relax, very nice surroundings! You walk out the gate and have all kinds of beautiful hiking trails to go...Plenty and more... to experience in the immediate vicinity of the cottage, we really enjoyed the peace, the silence and the privacy that is offered here. Spotted all kinds of birds in the garden while enjoying a drink; Flemish jigsaws, robins, finches, goats and even 3 black with white colored squirrels that we have never seen in the Netherlands, this was a welcome extra during breakfast on our last day. In short, really a lovely cottage where we thoroughly enjoyed. We stayed there for 3 nights, as far as we were concerned, far too short. The house itself is just a home where you can enjoy a lovely hot tub undisturbed, a hot tub and if the weather allows it a beautifully landscaped swimming pool outside. We took really beautiful walks, the gardens in Arcen we had already been but stay beautiful. So all praise !!

We used the accommodation for four with two children (12 and 9) as a central starting point for activities in the Ruhr area. Therefore, the location was especially important to us. With about 10 min. walk to the nearest train station, you can get everywhere very well. The apartment is not large, but well suited for a family for a few days. Otherwise, we particularly liked the great view through the balcony and window and the freely usable small swimming pool. All in all it was a nice time!

The apartment is super lovingly furnished, you feel right at home and have everything you need. I felt comfortable from second 1. ❤️ Also super recommended for dog owners, you are very rural and can go for a great walk. At the same time, you can still get to Cologne very quickly by car. Perfect location for activities. :)

Nice place, especially if the weather is right. Booking a hot tub is recommended, please note that the swimming pool opens from mid-May. Cottage is a bit noisy, something to take into account.

We were travelling back from Finland to the UK with our 2 dogs and needed somewhere to stay for our last night. Ideally we would be able to self cater and give our dogs a good long walk. After explaining the situation to Fridolin, he invited us to book. We arrived late afternoon, check in was easy and the annexe was just perfect for our needs😁It had a very homely feel and some very nice touches as well. Using the directions given, we gave our dogs a much needed long walk in the countryside right from the front door in the evening sunshine😎🐾🐾 With big name supermarkets nearby we were able to get our supplies for dinner and breakfast👍🏻 We slept like logs on a super comfy bed, the house is in a dead end road so was very peaceful. After another long walk, we left feeling like we had found a little gem and wishing we could have stayed another night. We would not hesitate to stay again should we be passing by and happily recommend to others.

After a sunny weekend in beautiful Wassum, we are now planning another stay with Yvonne. As soon as you drive into the cozy courtyard and park in front of the palm tree and pond, the vacation feeling is perfect. The chalet and its garden are very inviting and offer many opportunities to unwind. We were traveling with dog and baby. For our baby, we were provided with a travel bed and the four-legged friend was allowed to use the fenced garden to really let off steam. Thanks to Yvonne's hospitable and warm manner, we felt very well looked after and welcome. Thanks for this and see you next time! 🙏🏼👌🏼

Fantastic host, place was very clean and easy to find. Easy to get into town and Henriette was a great host.

We had a lovely stay at Simone's cottage. Everything was also really as it was in the listing. No wifi, no TV. It was really relaxing. The cottage is in the woods, the only thing you hear were the birds. What I had to get used to was that you have to make coffee by hand. But yes, that doesn't really matter, because we were free and didn't have to do anything that really needed. We hope to be welcome in this cottage again.

I was traveling for work and could feel right at home in Susann's apartment. The highway can be reached quickly and you can always find a parking space at the house, the surroundings were great for extended walks in the afternoon. In the kitchen you have everything you need and especially the bathroom was spotlessly clean. Thank you!

We had a nice week at Marie-Luise's cottage. The "painting heating" made it wonderfully warm. - From this cottage you can be in Cologne in half an hour by train. - Furthermore, you can also quickly be in nature from the cottage for a nice walk. - We'll probably come back here sometime. I had a wonderful stay at Frank’s place. The room offers great privacy, and the space is just right for a comfortable stay. Frank is a thoughtful and attentive host—he checks in from time to time to see if I need any help, which I really appreciate. He even gave me a lovely plant, which added a nice touch to the room! Overall, I felt very welcomed and well taken care of. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and well-hosted stay.❤️

What a lovely house in an amazing location. Everything was present, we didn't have to take anything with us. A large fenced garden for the dog and complete privacy where we sat outside, also it was not very warm. It was a wonderful weekend and highly recommended if you like peace and quiet and nice hiking
