This is definitely among the best Airbnb's I've stayed in, so much so I would rent this apartment myself if I lived in Reykjavík. It's absolutely beautiful, has everything you need, and the location cannot be beat (within <5 minutes of everything in Centre, super close walk to nearly everything else). Stefan gave great recommendations and went to the extra effort of dropping off extra soap / laundry detergent when he realized the Airbnb would be running low during my stay. Highly recommend!

This space was great! My wife and I really loved the clean modern feel of the apartment. The host even went out of her way to help us out in a pinch. We can’t say enough good things about the home or the host. I would strongly suggest staying here.

Disa’s place was perfect for us, cozy and stylish in a beautiful setting. Not too far from town but felt remote. Very comfortable bed, refreshing shower. We appreciated making coffee in the Moccamaster.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der Wohnung. Sie war sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet,was wir benötigt haben. Laufdistanz bis zur Hallgrimskirka sind 15 Minuten und wir konnten das Auto gut kostenlos an der Unterkunft parken. Wir würden hier definitiv wieder übernachten!

Sigga is an awesome host and he has a wonderful place! If we are ever in Iceland again, we will definitely stay here again if his apartment is available. Sigga's apartment was conveniently located to KEF airport, was clean, quiet, fairly close to a wonderful fish and chips place (Issi's) and grocery store (Bonus), etc. Awesome host and awesome apartment!

Great apartment. Lots of space and exactly as shown in the pictures. We loved the deck and views out of the kitchen! Laundry worked well and some laundry pods were provided. Plenty of space for everyone with comfortable beds and blackout curtains in bedrooms. Great location with an easy walk to lots of shops and restaurants and a grocery store nearby. Phil was very responsive before and during our trip as well. Highly recommend.

We had an exceptional stay at this apartment over New Year’s. The property was perfect for us as a couple, offering everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. The apartment was very clean, warm, welcoming, and equipped with excellent cooking facilities, which made it easy to prepare meals for our sightseeing trips. Its central location was incredibly convenient, especially for navigating the roads and icy conditions as first-time visitors. The check-in process was seamless, and the host was a pleasure to communicate with—promptly answering any questions we had. Compared to the hotels and other Airbnb options we considered, this apartment exceeded our expectations, especially as a last-minute booking. We truly couldn’t fault anything about our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!

What a great place to stay with family and hardly few minutes drive to the centre. Stefania was very helpful host! Highly recommend.

Unbeatable location! 5 min to bus stop 1 which is a key bus pick up location for all trips and tours-- including the airport for back home. Extremely clean and exactly as pictured. Comfortable beds too. Would recommend and stay again!

This was a wonderful stay. Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. It’s close enough to town that you can walk or opt for the bus. Ample free parking around as well. We would stay here again if given the opportunity.

We enjoyed staying at Ragnar's place. It was exactly as pictured and was great for getting around to all the sites. Ragnar is very kind and helped us when we had something go wrong. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had what we needed and the bathroom was very big and clean.

The AIRBB was very nice. The bedding and beds were very comfortable, great black out lighting. The location was convenient to downtown and the local coffee shop was a great option for a quick breakfast. The property was clean, the kitchen well equipped and there was good communication between us and our host.

I really loved the place. It’s spacious, has everything we needed except for the WiFi, I haven’t looked this up in advance. However the host was super nice and helpful, they even offered their mobile internet for usage.

Our family of 5 (3 pre-teens / teenagers) did an IcelandAir stopover for just a couple of days. This BnB was in a great location close to the airport and the city. The home itself was wonderful and easily accommodated us. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. Elisa provided amazing recommendations for things to do and local places to eat. I wish we had more time to spend in this wonderful country. When we come back, we hope Elisa and her family will host us again!

Really lovely and cozy space, walkable to most everything.

This was a perfect place to stay and see Reykjavik. Kolbrún’s place is right in the heart of a very walkable area with restaurants, music, shops, a wonderful bakery around the corner and just near the entrance, Bonus, an affordable grocery store a block or so away. Parking was not a problem. Parked in P3 - affordable. Free on sat/sun. Very easy and close to Kolbrún’s. There was small porch overlooking the street/shops. We kept the patio door open in the morning and drank our coffee. It was never noisy and very quiet inside the home. Wonderful. The hot tub was great after a long day. Beds were very comfy too. We had a lovely time and went out at night without having to drive! We so enjoyed our stay. We want to come back in the winter. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay and enjoy Reykjavik. Definitely will return!!

We had an amazing time at Geir’s family home! This was an incredible place to spend the new year and we would absolutely return! The location is perfect. We were able to walk outside the city lights a short distance to get an amazing view of the northern lights. A designated lookout is also a short car ride away. Plus, downtown Reykjavík is a short car or bus ride away! It could also be a good walk for those who like to hike.

Rósa has a lovely loft on the 4th floor. It has elevator if you prefer to not walk stairs or have luggage. She responds quickly to any needs and offers great recommendations for restaurant and travel around Iceland.

Had a quick 2 night stay and this was a perfect location. Minutes from the airport, restaurants and grocery. House had thoughtful items that made the trip easier (lots of charging converters, gaming for the kids, etc). Great stay.

Sloveig was such a wonderful host and really went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. The place was beautiful and comfortable in every way imaginable and super close to the city center without the crowd. Definitely a place I would want to come back to!
