Apartment vacation rentals in Keflavík

This is definitely among the best Airbnb's I've stayed in, so much so I would rent this apartment myself if I lived in Reykjavík. It's absolutely beautiful, has everything you need, and the location cannot be beat (within <5 minutes of everything in Centre, super close walk to nearly everything else). Stefan gave great recommendations and went to the extra effort of dropping off extra soap / laundry detergent when he realized the Airbnb would be running low during my stay. Highly recommend!

This space was great! My wife and I really loved the clean modern feel of the apartment. The host even went out of her way to help us out in a pinch. We can’t say enough good things about the home or the host. I would strongly suggest staying here.

We had an exceptional stay at this apartment over New Year’s. The property was perfect for us as a couple, offering everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. The apartment was very clean, warm, welcoming, and equipped with excellent cooking facilities, which made it easy to prepare meals for our sightseeing trips. Its central location was incredibly convenient, especially for navigating the roads and icy conditions as first-time visitors. The check-in process was seamless, and the host was a pleasure to communicate with—promptly answering any questions we had. Compared to the hotels and other Airbnb options we considered, this apartment exceeded our expectations, especially as a last-minute booking. We truly couldn’t fault anything about our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!

Disa’s place was perfect for us, cozy and stylish in a beautiful setting. Not too far from town but felt remote. Very comfortable bed, refreshing shower. We appreciated making coffee in the Moccamaster.

We had a great stay at the apartment. It was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Walking distance to Hallgrimskirka is 15 minutes and we were able to park the car well for free at the property. We would definitely stay again!

Would definitely recommend. Host was extremely helpful and quick to respond, giving great advice of local supermarkets etc. Furnished to a beautiful standard, very clean and all the essentials, plus more. Sadly, we were very excited to see tin foil in the drawer 😁 as this was so useful to us- our children who didn't like early breakfast, so we wrapped bacon sandwiches each day for on the go. Loved the addition of a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, all with washing tablets available. Felt like home from home and made our stay a really happy one. Thank you so much.

Sigga is an awesome host and he has a wonderful place! If we are ever in Iceland again, we will definitely stay here again if his apartment is available. Sigga's apartment was conveniently located to KEF airport, was clean, quiet, fairly close to a wonderful fish and chips place (Issi's) and grocery store (Bonus), etc. Awesome host and awesome apartment!

My stay at the apartment in Iceland was absolutely wonderful. The host was very hospitable, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Communication was excellent. The apartment itself was clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything we needed. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, and we're already looking forward to returning in the future!

Lloyd and Raggi’s apartment is a gem! Fully equipped, quiet street, comfy bed, secure and beautiful neighborhood. It was a short walk to central Reykjavik shopping, restaurants and historic sites. This property is great for a couple. Note that there are some stairs to from the street door to the apartment door. We highly recommend this property for staying in Reykjavik.

Stefania’s apartment was a very comfortable place to stay for the week. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were ideal and there was plenty of shelving and hanging space for clothes and other items. The kitchen was well stocked and was perfect for cooking breakfast before we headed out for the day. We loved the location because it was not right in the heart of the city but it was within ten minutes by car. It was a peaceful area with grocery stores, a bakery and other shopping within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay there.

It was AMAZING! Unnar and family are wonderful hosts, the apartment was beautiful, and it was in a perfect location. Would absolutely stay here again :)

We enjoyed staying at Ragnar's place. It was exactly as pictured and was great for getting around to all the sites. Ragnar is very kind and helped us when we had something go wrong. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had what we needed and the bathroom was very big and clean.

The AIRBB was very nice. The bedding and beds were very comfortable, great black out lighting. The location was convenient to downtown and the local coffee shop was a great option for a quick breakfast. The property was clean, the kitchen well equipped and there was good communication between us and our host.

Arni provided great instructions and photos for finding and entering the apartment - it was a seamless experience. I found the place impeccable and with an inviting charm. It's spacious and the bathroom is big. The mattress was very comfortable. Light sleepers should pack earplugs for the road noise. I didn't explore the area around but it's convenient for driving out of town to see the sites, and there's a gas station nearby. I didn't try the local bus but there's a stop for it very close to the building.

We had a great stay at this easy location for seeing the sights.

Our family of 5 (3 pre-teens / teenagers) did an IcelandAir stopover for just a couple of days. This BnB was in a great location close to the airport and the city. The home itself was wonderful and easily accommodated us. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. Elisa provided amazing recommendations for things to do and local places to eat. I wish we had more time to spend in this wonderful country. When we come back, we hope Elisa and her family will host us again!

Great studio room close to everything in the city. Enough space for two people with everything you’ll need. We cooked a few meals and ate in a few times. Walking distance to a grocery store, coffee shops, and long term free parking.

This was a perfect place to stay and see Reykjavik. Kolbrún’s place is right in the heart of a very walkable area with restaurants, music, shops, a wonderful bakery around the corner and just near the entrance, Bonus, an affordable grocery store a block or so away. Parking was not a problem. Parked in P3 - affordable. Free on sat/sun. Very easy and close to Kolbrún’s. There was small porch overlooking the street/shops. We kept the patio door open in the morning and drank our coffee. It was never noisy and very quiet inside the home. Wonderful. The hot tub was great after a long day. Beds were very comfy too. We had a lovely time and went out at night without having to drive! We so enjoyed our stay. We want to come back in the winter. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay and enjoy Reykjavik. Definitely will return!!

We had an amazing time at Geir’s family home! This was an incredible place to spend the new year and we would absolutely return! The location is perfect. We were able to walk outside the city lights a short distance to get an amazing view of the northern lights. A designated lookout is also a short car ride away. Plus, downtown Reykjavík is a short car or bus ride away! It could also be a good walk for those who like to hike.

Our host did an excellent job of preparing our rental for our toddler, having toddler beds set up in advance. They also had plenty of toddler dishes and a high chair. They messaged when we arrived to let us know we could play with the toys in the back yard as well. The apartment had plenty of space for the 4 of us, and was within a few minutes of many convenient shops. It was easy to access the main road to get to our various destinations, but the apartment itself is at the end of a quiet and safe, family oriented neighborhood.

Rósa has a lovely loft on the 4th floor. It has elevator if you prefer to not walk stairs or have luggage. She responds quickly to any needs and offers great recommendations for restaurant and travel around Iceland.

Had a quick 2 night stay and this was a perfect location. Minutes from the airport, restaurants and grocery. House had thoughtful items that made the trip easier (lots of charging converters, gaming for the kids, etc). Great stay.

Sloveig was such a wonderful host and really went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. The place was beautiful and comfortable in every way imaginable and super close to the city center without the crowd. Definitely a place I would want to come back to!
