"The Land of Pristine Rivers! A private inn in Gifu Prefecture with an atrium and a cozy stay around the Irori fireplace!

奈央Rating, 5 stars2 months ago
It seems that there are many summer users, but we used it in the middle of winter.I was able to enjoy the snow scenery rarely seen due to heavy snowfall. It was very cold, but I enjoyed watching the fire in the wood stove and making teppanyaki and pot in the fireplace. The supermarket is the closest and about 16 minutes by car, so it's a good idea to come to the inn after shopping.Bugigawa Onsen, about 20 minutes by car, was also very good.I used the pizza oven to bake and eat pizza and bread in the snow.Fortunately, the snow stopped, so there was a problem with grilling and eating on the spot.I didn't feel that cold because there was no wind. The child was in unusual snow.(High school student) I think summer is a great place!

Biwa Lake , the whole building for rent

We loved our stay in OmiHachiman. It is a very quiet, chill town. Not a lot is open after 5 or so in the town so plan meals wisely. The blue house was clean, spacious and well appointed, with the most comfortable beds we encountered on our whole Japan trip. The bus from the train station goes nearby the accommodation and continues on to La Collina - very convenient..

An entrance to a modern building is framed by smooth concrete walls and a gently sloping roof. A golden decorative element rests near the entrance, while gravel pathways and minimal landscaping create a serene outdoor setting.

Kogito-no-Yado, Homemade Roasted Coffee and Natural Wine

The country atmosphere is strong and it's a pleasure to get up against the fields and listen to the birds for coffee. The BBQ place is also clean and easy to use, just buy charcoal and food. The kitchen is fully equipped, lots of dishes for use, there are also condiments provided, very considerate! The bedroom is also very clean and feels the care of the host. The host's coffee shop is also very atmospheric, the coffee is good, and it is highly recommended to taste it! Will want to stay in Takashima in the future, thanks for the hospitality!

it was a wonderful stay at a traditional house! residential neighborhood with a bit of road noise at night but still quiet otherwise! thank you for having us!
The entrance of the traditional house is framed by a gravel path and neatly arranged plants. A large sliding door opens onto a welcoming space, while windows on either side allow natural light to fill the interior. The peaked roof complements the serene hillside backdrop.

6 minutes to the National Treasure Inuyama Castle, with excellent access to the airport, Nagoya, Gifu, and Takayama, making it a great starting point for any adventure!

It is a very nice house. It is a bit noisy due to the nearly road and train tracks during the day, but it wasn’t too bad during the night. Definitely rent a car if you want to stay here, or get taxis to go into town, since the station is a good walk away. Once you get a car, accessing the mountains is a breeze and traffic is quite low. The host was amazing. She picked us up from the train station on arrival and dropped us off at the train station when we left. She also brought over some more bedding during our stay. I highly recommend this place, just be aware that if you are a light sleeper, you might not enjoy staying here. Overall it was in the right location to get a taxi into Inuyama to interact with the locals, and then drive around in the mountains.
A traditional Japanese room features a tatami mat floor and large shoji screens that allow soft light to filter through. Minimalist decor includes a spacious area for futons and a low wooden shelf with a small plant, contributing to a serene environment.

The entrance to the guest house is marked by a polished metal sign that reads 'Mirror Beach Guest House.' The textured exterior wall features subtle grain patterns, complementing the modern design of the door nearby.

Lake View House Otsu Near Kyoto!

The place was really good to stay at. If you're staying in Winter and Spring where the weather is colder, walking to the accommodation would be great! As the walk from the nearest train station is quite a distance, might not wanna do it during summer. But the place is really cozy and homely. Facilities and amenities were great too!
