A Satoyama Private Retreat in Nara

A private Satoyama retreat in the mountains of Nara, just 20 minutes from the city. This traditional one-group-per-day house is renovated with reclaimed wood and uses fresh mountain spring water. Enjoy hands-on cooking with organic rice and vegetables from our farm. Relax in a wood-fired bath, and in the morning experience a Japanese tea ceremony surrounded by nature. Dinner options include Japanese meal or pizza making. Our meal service is available for parties of two or more guests.

Near Koyasan／Workspace

Japan's tiny home in Koyaguchi offers two guest rooms, ideal for up to 3 guests, with a minimum of one group per day. An additional fee applies for three or more people. Accessible via JR station with a Japan Rail Pass, it features a kitchen for self-catering and indoor bicycle storage. It’s an 8-minute drive to Natural Onsen Yunosato and a 6-minute walk to Koyaguchinoyu public bathhouse. Directions are available in the guidebook. Please save it to your favorites for easy access.

Private traditional riverside villa/1h from KIX

This house was built 120 years ago and stayed by a lot of people who have plan to go to Koya-san. The house is in front of the river and you can take a look. It will make relaxed. We can do tea ceremony, if you want. We have 2 toilet and 1 bath room with big bath tab made by a Japanese special wood, Hinoki. There is a 24h super market, Okuwa near the house.(5 min away by a car) And high rank Japanese beef restaurant(2 min by a car) You can enjoy Yakiniku.

It is a detached house for rent. Self check-in with smart lock. There is a supermarket nearby, so shopping is very convenient. Access to world heritage sites such as [Koyasan] and [Mozu Furuichi Burial Mounds] is also good, and the limousine bus goes directly to Kansai Airport and Nankai Koya Line Namba Station. Japanese log house with BBQ space and private river. You can enjoy fishing a amago, watching beautiful stars. There is a private sauna. After sauna, you can dive into a river. In June you can watch ire flies. All the rooms are made by Japanese special wood , Hinoki and sugi. The smell is amazing. This area is really tranquil and you will be able to make relaxed. And easy to get to Koya-san (40 min by a car)

Hanastay Kawachinagano

Hanastay Kawachinagano is a cozy and welcoming guesthouse located in a quiet residential area. Our on-site manager will greet you at your scheduled arrival time and assist with the check-in procedure. Please kindly note: Some rooms currently do not have curtains installed. The manager keeps two cats on-site. Staff may enter and work around the surrounding outdoor areas during the daytime.
