Vacation rentals in Kauneonga Lake

Our stay at Starlight Serene was everything we hoped it would be! John was very responsive and helpful, especially as this was our first time using AirBnB. The pictures are very accurate, there were plenty of towels, linens, and a VERY well equipped kitchen - much more than we expected (or I have in my own house, I think!). Lots of nice bonuses to this place - my kids loved the firepit and there was wood on hand as well as a s'mores kit; the hot tub was warm and ready when we arrived. You are at the narrower end of the lake, but still a beautiful view with plenty of wildlife. The location is great - roughly 30ish minutes to Bear Mountain, Legoland, and the Palisades Center (which had tons of rainy-day fun for kids). We even rented a pontoon boat from Murphy's Cove Marina - Richie was really wonderful to us and our kids and they loved their first time boating and fishing on the lake. It was a great, peaceful place to stay. The jacuzzi was bigger than I expected, which made it very comfortable. We had everything we needed at the house, and our nights were so relaxing and quiet.

I cannot say enough about this home. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful views, this is the place for you. Hosts were extremely helpful & very quick to respond. We got lucky with beautiful weather and got to enjoy the lake but, stargazing in the jacuzzi at night was a perfect touch. We seriously loved every bit of this home and would love to return one day!! I stayed here with 6 friends, the place was very homey. I loved the cute little accents to the house that provided a vibe like no other! The bedrooms were so comfortable. Going to local stores was not much of a hassle. The home has pots and pans, and cooking utensils if it is ever needed. There is a cute lake 4 minutes of a walk to sit down on the ledge and dip your feet in for a nice relaxation. We were not able to use the lake for swimming purposes due to the weather, but it is a great place if you want a weekend getaway or that of some sort with a group of close friends and family. Samantha was more than great at accommodating, answering questions, and providing excellent customer service to us! We appreciate her attentiveness and all around care during our stay. One of our best Air BNB stays ever. A beautiful house with a great backyard and views of the mountains. (There's an excellent back deck.) It was both remote enough to get some relaxation in, but 10 minutes from town for those moments we wanted a nice meal or a stop at the grocery store or wine shop. Highly recommended.

I rented the place out for my birthday. This was one of the best birthdays I ever had. He was extremely accommodating to my three dogs, family, and friends. He was very responsive and was very proactive to ensure a pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband & I enjoyed our time here. We would recommend to family / friends. Beautiful & quiet community. Enjoyed seeing the deer greeting us upon our arrival! :)

This place was AMAZING‼️ we came for my daughters 7th birthday and she really enjoyed herself, from the game room to the Nintendo switch, and waking up to the deers lol. The place looked exactly liked the picture. All the cooking appliances came in very handy (won’t find this at any other Airbnb). We are already looking to go back for the summer and make use of the outdoor pools. Thank you for being patient with us and being very responsive with any questions we had and recommendations when needed. We will definitely visit again.

Beautiful home in a very private area. Lots of family games and lots of outside things todo. Me and my family had a wonderful Easter weekend get away. Only complaint I would have is the jacuzzi smelled weird and stuff was coming out of the jets but other than that it was perfect! We all were very comfortable and had a blast with the kids.
