Beautiful, private, quiet. The perfect place to unplug and forget about everyday life for a while. There is plenty of space to freely unfold, whether you are into training and yoga, or would rather lie by the pool in either sun or shade. Beautiful views and complete garden.

We stayed at Fumba town for 5 days and the place was brilliant. Thanks to our lovely host and area the place was worth it. Bathroom and rooms looked better than in the picture.

Absolutely stunning house in paradise! The garden, the colors of the sea, the house itself - everything is gorgeous. But the staff are the real prize. Asia, chef, and Peter took such good care of us. Fabulous meals, spotless housekeeping, good security. We arrived tired and cranky and left rested and refreshed - we were so sad to leave! We would not hesitate to book again and again.

Simply fantastic! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed – the hospitality was noticeable from start to finish and made our stay special. The location of the hotel is perfect: Right on the beautiful beach of Michamvi Pingwe, far from mass tourism, but still close to highlights such as "The Rock." Here we could enjoy the tranquility, especially the beach is the best we have seen on our tour. Especially because there is a large sandbank right outside the front door. Our room was spacious, very clean and stylishly furnished. We were particularly impressed by the view of the turquoise sea, which was simply magical! We were spoiled with culinary delights: Breakfast with fresh fruits, pancakes and delicious scrambled eggs was a perfect start to the day. We enjoyed fantastic dishes from the in-house kitchen: the white wine and the fish platter are highly recommended. And there's shisha too! The service was first class! THANK YOU! ?

This place is a true gem. Hidden away, it's not the typical Zanzibar tourist spot. In fact, we were the only non-local people in the whole neighbourhood. It felt amazing to shop in the local village micro-shop, get fresh fish and calamari straight from the fish market, enjoy the private beach. If you feel like disconnecting, winding down and relaxing to the fullest - this is your place. And then, when you feel like exploring anything Zanzibar has to offer - you have all the options. Ali, the manager, is gonna be your guide, driver, and will arrange anything you please. We went to Stone Town, to Paje, to one of the spice farms, to the Jozani Forrest, to see the turtles, to go kayaking, spent a day on a boat trip (saw dolphins, went snorkelling, visited the famous sand bank, had lobster and fish on a private island). Ali even arrange for Omar, a private chef, to cook for us one evening. We hope to visit again one day. I highly recommend Nick's place! You will not be disappointed!

Our stay in Uroa was wonderful. Emanuele put us in touch with his property manager who helped us with everything from airport transfers, setting up tours and even getting some medicine when some of our family came down with the flu. Uroa is a little bit remote in terms of amenities but that is what we were looking for. There are a few local restaurants within walking distance on the beach but not much more than that. We enjoyed walking the beach every day, swimming and wading out to the sand bar at low tide. There are also people/companies on the beach if you want to setup snorkeling tours or watersports. The caretaker and the housekeeper do a wonderful job keeping up the property and the housekeeper even made a few meals for us with the groceries we bought in Stonetown! The house was beautiful and in good repair. Beds were good and the pool was great to relax in. Overall, it was a very relaxing stay, just what we needed at the end of our trip to Tanzania!

A very great place. Quiet, away from all the noise. The house is very clean with full time available maids for taking care of the guests needs. Good communication from the host and it is worth a price. I will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful time at AFYA Village. The garden feels like you are in paradise, the view is fantastic and the food & breakfast where just delicious. Ali is a great cook and his team is super friendly and nice. Highly recomendable. Thank you!!
