Coastal Farm Stay

Bryony’s place is just magical. It had everything we needed and more. The view and the wrap around verandah were what stood out for us. Having small people, it meant they were safe when they were playing outside, which meant we could actually relax and enjoy ourselves. The kitchen was really well equipped and we appreciated the little things we didn’t have to pack such as oils, coffee, dishwashing tablets and shampoo etc. The house was extremely comfortable for a large party of 9 as we were able to retreat to different areas of the house when needed. It would be even better if there was a vacuum and a mop so that we could adequately clean up after ourselves. We had the most enjoyable time and hope to book again.
A charming waterfront cottage is nestled among trees at the edge of the shore. Its colonial-style exterior features a light-hued facade with a green roof and triangular dormer windows. A grassy area extends in front, leading to rocky water's edge, offering scenic views of Port Stephens.

Tahlee Waterfront Cottage

I found our stay extremely relaxing a step back in time may not suit another looking for modern convenience. I am use to using dam water. Some items need maintenance Electric blanket not working one side of bed. Some light bulbs need replacing. There was mould on cooking utensils and a strong ammonia smell when opening cupboard doors. I am only mentioning to alert you to these issues. I washed items I needed.

The Stable, at Bandon Grove

This was by far the best airbnb stay we’ve had. It was like staying in a Town and Country Magazine. Nina thought of everything and so many little touch’s along the way. The place is beautiful along with the surroundings being picturesque. Will definitely be back, the pictures don’t do it justice- thanks Nina. Your homemade sourdough bread was delicious.

Graham and Monica's place was a fantastic choice of stay. The property has a sense of serenity the minute you drive into it, with a most idyllic spot on the deck to just sit and enjoy the golden sunlight dappled between the trees. The accomodation was immaculately kept. The kitchen and living area was generous, the bedrooms were a good size and beds were extremely comfortable. The place had all the amenities you could need. The location was only a short drive back into Dungog with beautiful countryside to enjoy along the way. The hosts were fantastic. Graham and Monica were great with communication, responsive and very thoughtful hosts. Will have no hesitations in staying here again or recommending others to stay here if in the region. Thank you again for such a lovely stay.
Large windows allow for natural light to fill the living area, offering a view of the sunset over the water. A round table is accompanied by two chairs beside the windows, with a floor lamp providing additional illumination. Potted plants add greenery to the space.

Tiny house; idyllic bush setting

My husband and I had such a relaxing time at the tiny home to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. There had been lots of rain so the road was muddy on our arrival and we got ourselves bogged - Ant quickly came to the rescue to pull us out and was so friendly. The drive in is so beautiful and the tiny home itself is so cosy and peaceful. There was a personalised message and some treats on arrival which was such a special touch. There’s lots of exploring to do - my husband and I walked a couple of the tracks and soaked up nature and then followed up with a lay in the hammock and BBQ dinner. The nights were a bit wet but it would have been amazing to have a fire when it’s dry - instead we played card games inside with a hot choccy. We loved experiencing life off grid and the silence and peacefulness of the tiny home. Such a perfect stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of busy life. Would 100% recommend and would love to come back one day.
