The perfect home away from home, Ruth’s Cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay in Ipswich, featuring a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms with firm queen size beds, dinning area and separate living areas. This light filled cottage has air-conditioning, high seed NBN internet access and is located a few minutes walk from the center of town and hospital precinct. Bedrooms are at opposite ends of the house for privacy. If less than two guests are booked and you need access to the 2nd bedroom or if the single bed is required a small additional fee applies. EV fast charge 50m down street. The cottage has been renovated with luxury finishes and fittings while still feeling homely. Both beds have brand new firm mattresses with lovely soft pillow tops and high quality linen. Fully stocked kitchen and all bathroom amenities included. Guests have access to the entire cottage including off street parking for two vehicles. We are friendly hosts always just a phone call away, but keen to give you your space to enjoy the house. The popular 4 hearts brewing, Dovetails restaurant, and Brothers ice-creamery are only a short walk away in the 88 limestone precinct which is also a popular function center. Brisbane street and the mall are just beyond this precinct with more restaurants and cafe's, a supermarket is a 10-minute walk away on Gordon Street. The Ipswich central train station and hospital can be accessed on foot easily from the cottage. Ipswich art gallery and civic center are a 3-minute walk away. Metered street parking is also available in front of the property. Ipswich Train Station is a 5 minute walk away with direct links to Brisbane CBD and airport. This is a very quiet street, especially at night time.

This unique place has a style all its own. A lovely garden with hot tub to explore, chickens with fresh eggs on hand, beehives with access to some fresh honey, lovely friendly dogs who will happily enjoy a game of fetch and tug of war. Train station is just a 2 minute walk from the house. Across the road you have a takeaway shop with great burgers and a little fruit and veg shop with lots of great prices. If you can’t sleep and want a naughty treat the 7/11 is also just across the road.

Anthony and Kat were generous and flexible hosts, they went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and settled and had a flexible check-in. The unit was gorgeous and comfortable and had everything you need plus a beautiful nature strip attached. just a beautiful, peaceful getaway in a beautiful spot. central for the work I was travelling for and plenty of food options - and great coffee from Black Milk if you like people making coffee for you... This was such a surprising wonderful place to stay. In the middle of rolling hills, with a distant view of Brisbane, and the sounds of birds all around, it was magical. It was fun to stay in. a tiny house, like a boat. The hosts were great!

Estefanny's home was just delightful. Although I didn't actually get to meet her (which I regretted), all the instructions were perfectly clear and I accessed the house easily. Spacious, good sized bedrooms, plenty of cupboard space, plenty of kitchen gadgets - everything about it was easy to access and use. It is at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and backs directly onto the bush. Verandah's on both sides kept the home cool in the heat and the air-con and fans help out in the heat of the day. Birdsong, cicadas - a lovely home in a natural setting. Shops etc were about 10 mins away, but you do need a car. I would recommend this property.

Great accommodation. Claire has provided everything for a great stay. Very comfortable stay in great location and very quiet.

My friends and I stayed here while competing at an event held at Pat Rafter stadium. It was perfect for what we needed, very spacious bedrooms, kitchen and living area, and close to the local Woolies. Loved that the main toilet was separate to the main bathroom, given we had multiple people staying. Literally everything you would need in a home while staying anway, it was provided. All instructions for check in/out were super easy, and Venus was very responsive and super friendly to any messages / questions I had during my stay. Highly recommend!
