Vacation rentals in Kapiti Coast District

It’s our second time staying at Garry’s place and the only difference is that there are even more little extras than last time! The attention to detail, thoughtfulness and quality of the home is incredible and the beach is just over the fence- we couldn’t ask for more and highly recommend this little spot of paradise for a lovely break. Ideal for one or two couples, with two ensuites and a large living area and of course some great shopping and eateries within walking distance. Thank you once again, we will be back!!

Alice’s home is a truly peaceful sanctuary — a modern, elegant refuge where nature and design come together in perfect harmony. The clean architectural lines, serene colour palette, and beautifully curated interiors made the space feel both calming and luxurious. Every detail, from the layout to the lighting, felt deeply intentional and inviting. The three of us — close friends — had such a wonderful time here. Whether we were sharing meals, soaking in the spa under the stars, or simply unwinding in the serene indoor spaces, the home offered the perfect setting to reconnect, laugh, and rest. The surrounding trees, birdsong, and lush gardens made it feel like we were held by nature the entire time — utterly magical. Alice was a phenomenal host: warm, communicative, and thoughtful throughout. She’s created a space that’s more than just a place to stay — it’s a place to pause, exhale, and truly be. We left feeling restored and full of gratitude. Can't wait to return, thank you Alice.

Cindy's whare was the perfect place to host a house of kaumātua. It was clean, pristine, the kitchen had everything to prepare meals. We were thankful for the neighbours too as they reminded us about rubbish/recycling day in and amongst a busy film festival schedule. A beautiful spot.

Raymond is a fantastic host, so helpful & friendly. I had to leave, unexpectedly, at short notice & Raymond ensured I did the appropriate thing in the Air BnB app so I would get a refund. I'll definitely be back to stay again when next in the area. I couldn't recommend Raymond more highly 👍😄.

We loved the location and the view from the deck is really very special. We so enjoyed our early morning walks along the beach. The bach has everything you need for a short stay, the bed & sofas are comfortable and the mini kitchen is well equiped for its size and there is an excellent BBQ. You can walk to Four Square for basics and/or a couple of cafes for coffee or lunch. We were appreciative of the milk, coffee, tea and biscuits.

We had the most amazing stay at this glamping site. Beautiful location, with lots to do around the site and not too far from Wellington. Perfect for a weekend getaway - wish we could have stayed on for longer.

A great spot to escape up the coast with a group. Watching the sunset in the balcony was perfect and the house has quick access to the beach. Had a fantastic stay.

This is a lovely place to stay that you feel right at home as soon as you check in. The house is fully equipped with everything that you need and more with some nice touches. The view of Kapiti Island from the balcony is majestic, a real treat for the area. Easy walk down the beach t check out the local shops for food or coffee. A delightful stay - thanks!
