Vacation rentals in Kanonji

I had fun with my friends😊 This time, since I stayed last time, I also tried teppanyaki, which I had wanted to try.😋 I'm going to get hooked on cooking with a gas stove🍳 and an iron plate🫣 I was able to experience an extraordinary space, and it was great to be able to play on a private beach🫡 I will never forget watching the Blue Impulse flying towards Seto-ohashi Bridge from the private beach with everyone.😍 Thank you for a really wonderful two days😊

We had a great stay at Ryosuke’s house, which was the best Airbnb we have stayed in during our 3 week stay in Japan. It is very spacious and clean. It is conveniently located, less than 5 minutes walk to the station and close to the ferry terminal if you are travelling to Naoshima Island (which I strongly recommend). Ryosuke was a pleasure to deal with and very attentive. And we appreciated the treats that were left in the house for us. Just great. Thanks

A fabulous stop on the Shimanami Kaido route, and the best AirBnB I've ever stayed in. Amazing views, luxury touches, and plenty of space after a day of riding. Far from stores and shops so be sure to stock up before going to the house.

We had a lovely stay at this house in Tomo Port. The location is great - easy walk from the bus stop, and close to shops, restaurants and the ferry to Sensujima Island. The house is as described; the bed was very comfortable and it was nice to be left a couple of coffee pods and green tea bags. The hosts provided very clear instructions about how to access the house and were quick to reply to messages. As for the town, we enjoyed exploring the historic sites, sampling Homieshu, walking on Sensujima and loved the salt grilled sea bass.

My dog and I had a wonderful stay! Our host was incredibly kind and met me at check in for a little tour of the place and to give some local recommendations. The view from the house is gorgeous and super convenient, as I brought my paddleboard and was able to SUP right out front. You're super close to a great little hiking trail to an overlook of all the islands and a few minutes drive from restaurants, though there is a BBQ at the house if you'd rather eat at home. I plan on coming back for a longer stay next time! One more thing to add - the host kindly offered to take some photos of my dog and I paddleboarding so I could leave with some memories. He and his neighbor were on the beach in the morning while I was out. You're getting more than the house with this stay. He's a gem.

We loved Toshiro place for our launching pad for the seto island sea islands including naoshima and teshima. Super easy to get to the port from our airbnb stay. The home was clean and tidy and had everything you could need. Toshiro provided recommendations on what to do and even had cycles available. Would definitely recommend. 🤩

Alan and Reiko went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to ease certain travel pains. We were celebrating a birthday and they were kind of enough to arrange a cake from the mainland, they helped us locate a camera left on the ferry, they facilitated a bike rental, they gave us rides when we needed them, the list goes on. We were lucky enough to eat at their newly opened restaurant, and had the most incredible meal - probably the best we have eaten in Japan thus far! This is to say nothing of their lovely property, which is sublime. We stayed in the queen villa and were able to look out at the beautiful garden foregrounding the sea and sky. The historic buildings were breathtaking, with modern touches to ensure our comfort. I especially enjoyed the espresso machine in the mornings! I look forward to someday returning to this incredibly beautiful and peaceful spot, thank you Alan and Reiko for a memorable family birthday weekend!

The guest house was very neat and clean inside.The layout was easy to use, and the kids got used to it right away and used it like it was their own home. The host explained things politely, and the flexibility with the check-in and check-out times was really helpful. I would definitely use it again if I have the opportunity.Thank you!

Everything about our experience at Batonworks was well managed, thought out and considered. Rumiko’s associate, Aoi, picked us up at the ferry, remote control blinds and shades raised and lowered just at the right time of day or night. (They were also easily adjusted and controlled depending on when we wanted to take in the views of the island). The beautifully designed house is conveniently between the two main ports of Naoshima making it easy to both walk or ride bikes to both sides of the island. If we walked it was 15 minutes, if we e-biked, it was 7. Rumiko provides the ebikes. In the entrance hallway/ atrium there is a modern library with books on all things Naoshima and Teshima. There is a very efficient washer/dryer combo. Rumiko was the consummate host from start to finish. She was very responsive and helpful with all our questions and concerns--- I loved this place and hope to return again. Thank you! Andrew
