Family-friendly vacation rentals in Kanimbla

Had a lovely stay at Laguna Sanctuary, we wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle and we certainly did. We had great walks, rivers and a lagoon on our doorstep. The house catered for all our needs and really was a home from home. The permitted use of the bikes, boat and paddle boards made for a very enjoyable break. Will certainly come back!

We had a very enjoyable two night stay. Anna is a responsive and kind host. The homemade bread was very much appreciated. The cottage is in a perfect spot for exploring the Blue Mountains. The Grand Canyon trail is lovely. It is recommended to stock up on food before arrival, particularly if you do not have a car. Katoomba Taxis provided a useful service for us. This cottage is highly recommended.

This house is a beautiful retreat with cosy seating areas, good quality supplies, beautiful bathrooms and big bedrooms. The block itself has stunning gardens and outlook over bushland. We all had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back.

We loved our short stay. It was peaceful and quiet with a great view. The cabin was cosy and comfortable. Great location, quick drive to cafes, restaurants and shops. We enjoyed a day trip to Kangara-Boyd National Park and came home for a warm spa bath! Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back!

We had a fantastic weekend at iNest. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep and hang out. The kitchen was well equipped with more than we needed. We also appreciated the extra blankets and supplies on hand. The studio was an extra bonus for those who appreciated a little more relaxed peace and quiet and privacy. It was a great location for us, really easy to get to everything Katoomba has to offer without the busyness of being on the main roads. The decor was interesting and stimulated many conversations. And Slav was an excellent host who responded promptly to our questions, gave us clear check in instructions and made it obvious upon our arrival that he was very available throughout our stay if needed. We would love to come back and stay at Slav's again!

Very cosy place. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this house. The space was huge and had a great entertainment corner for us to use. Toilets were big. Rooms were clean. We experienced a beetle invasion at the front door on the first night there, we learned better and switched off the porch lights the next few nights. Otherwise we have no complaints!

Mirra’s place is just lovely and we had a great stay. The sauna and hot tub were so relaxing as was the lovely yard with ambient night time lighting. The kids were able to toast marshmallows in the fire pit and we enjoyed the barn so much! It is a lovely space with many thoughtful touches. Mirva even left some Easter chocolates for the kids 💜 Thank you for a great stay in your beautiful space.

Emmas place was absolutely magical! You can tell the place is cared for and loved. The views were phenomenal, so peaceful, so much natural wildlife, we saw Kangaroos, Wallaby’s, Rabbits (Hare), Wombats, Horses, Cows, Sheep! Book this place you wont regret it. Lastly, this place will always have a special spot as my partner proposed here. They call it the sunrise lodge for a reason 😍 🌅 best place to say “Yes” 💍

Peaceful and secluded place. We loved the deck and the fire pit in the evenings. Pet friendly, which was great so we could bring our smallest family member too! And he loved it. Great communication as well. Thank you Daniel.

We were very happy to stay in Mark’s lovely modern townhouse which was spotlessly clean. It was really nice in the warm weather to sit out in the garden. We were grateful to bring our two small dogs who also enjoyed the secure garden. We appreciated the home comforts provided and easy car parking.

What a gorgeous place!! Thank you Susan and John for letting us share your paradise for a couple of days. Phoebe says she misses all the animals already 😉 Thank you for indulging her. She had the best time. As did the rest of us. All your gorgeous companions were such a treat. 🩵 We might just come back next year 😉

Beautiful views from all windows and we had a cosy comfy stay. We loved watching the changing scenery through the day. Highly recommended.

Steve's place feels like home. It's decorated nicely and is very spacious. We felt very comfortable with 3 adults and 2 children. The kitchen is equipped with quality appliances and a lot of cookware. Location is great too. It's a place that we would love to come back to when we come to the area again in the future.

Such a lovely stay at Werriberri! Just what we needed to escape the city for a few days and be in nature. Gorgeous area to explore - the scones at the tea rooms and a wine at Drysdale estate is a must! Major bonus points for being able to bring our pup too.

Our group of four kids, two adults and one fur baby loved our stay at the Nook. The 2 teens loved the independence of the separate granny flat bedroom but were still plenty close to keep an eye on. All four kids kept coming back to the swing! The cottage has clearly been loved and well taken care of, and was perfectly sized for our group. Kids ate in the lounge area in front of the fireplace and adults had a bit of a quiet in the kitchen. We found the fire was plenty to keep the cottage cozy, but did make it quite the dramatic temperature drop when we went outside! Despite the chill and drizzle we spent a lot of time during the day in the garden, the kids kicking a ball around (regularly having to race down the hill to retrieve it!) and switching between the swings. Parents sat and enjoyed the view from the front lawn with cups of tea. This place was exactly what we needed for our quick break. We will definitely be back. Thanks for having us!

This is not the first time nor will it be the last time I stay here. If you want to go to a guaranteed, “this is a beautiful home place” then I strongly recommend it The open fireplace the wall to wall floor to ceilings windows with fantastic balcony is just great . It’s the sort of place that if I had a holiday house permanent it would look exactly like this. 10 out of 10 - nothing to fear Unbelievable place to stay

We had amazing weekend stay at Madison’s.Its a lush green farm with serene surroundings.And feeding the Alpacas stole our hearts. However there are few things which we dint appreciate as much as we would like to.First is - There was a common bbq area instead of the attached bbq area with cabin.Second is- Anne went too rude to point us for an hour delay in check out.She could have been considerate for a sick person. It looked like she does not know how to treat the guests and have no empathy.I have stayed at number of places but nobody has pointed us for an delay in check out.I don’t think i will be visiting again this place.But indeed, the place is a little piece of heaven.

This stay is by far one of the best Air B&B stays I’ve ever had. Went for a peaceful getaway and it was perfect. Andy was the most attentive host and his property was beyond beautiful and pristine. How he keeps the entire 3 acres this perfect is beyond me. The location, on the edge of a huge gorge had the best views ever! We enjoyed his stunning rock pool that looked like it was cut straight out of the natural, huge rock formations in the area. We ate outside almost every night in the beautiful garden area. Even made a small bonfire and just enjoyed the night. I cannot recommend Andy’s cottages more. We will for sure be back soon!

Amy's house was perfect for us. We had a family gathering and the kitchen, bedrooms, central areas and out door covered area were great. The location was really convenient for bush walking, cafes, scenic world, Echo Point. Once again it suited us extremely well.

Gary and Karen were excellent hosts and the views were amazing, all the way to the city of Sydney! The place was spacious with lots of nice little touches and thoughtful inclusions. Due to the cooler weather we didn’t make use of the pool but the area looked very inviting. The bed was very comfy and the shower was hot! If you have limited mobility you should note there are a number of stairs to the front door and some stairs inside. The shower is also in the spa bath. None of this was a problem, but worth noting. We had a lovely time and hope to be back again.

Diana was amazing with communication and assistance. The unit is lovely, comfortable, clean and well styled. We enjoyed being able to access Woolworths downstairs and restaurants and cafes too. A very good location to access Blacktown Sports Centre where we had a sports tournament to attend. The apartment has a lovely balcony to sit outside and a well-equipped kitchen if you decide to eat at home. We will be staying again very soon.
