Our experience at Rafiki Hostel was absolutely great!!! The place is exceptional for those who want to be away from tourists and noise, close to an amazing beach. CrazyMan's hospitality and availability contributed to the great success of our stay. The bedding is great and the garden is a haven of peace and beauty even on New Year's Eve!! Thanks to the good advice from our host, we always enjoyed ourselves in all the recommended restaurants. CrazyMan is always available and smiling to accompany his guests into town. For him we are all his “guests.” Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!! We leave happy to have discovered a little Zanzibar and a colorful host and so friendly and funny! CrazyMan…..in French!! The waterfront Staycation

The house has got a beautiful view and 2 min walk to the ocean when the tide is low. When the tide is low, there’s a staircase to the ocean and you can walk into the ocean and have fun. When the tide is high, then you just enjoy the sound of waves as they hit the rocks. The house was beautiful, clean and fresh! The chef was affordable (when needed and she made us lovely local food that we all enjoyed). Everything in the house is new and works perfectly. The pool was clean and so was its surroundings. To Mundhir and his team, thanks for making our stay a dream vacation! Mundhir always got out of his way to get us groceries,takeaway, call for a car hire, negotiate on our behalf and all his connections were always on point 👌🏾 A special thank you to Mundhir! I’d surely love to come back!

Amazing place! The hosts Bea and Mar warmly welcomed us into their little paradise. The accommodation is cozy, very clean and is in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle. From here, various dream beaches are easily accessible on foot or by boda-boda. We had a good time and would definitely come if we are one day again in Nungwi, Zanzibar.
