This beautiful, solar powered cottage with a spacious patio, is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the country life with a real feel for nature. Apart from the mountain view you might also be fortunate enough to witness a warthog family passing by or even some small game grazing nearby. Relax and listen to the birds chirping. You may even hear the bush babies shrieking, lions roaring and hyenas whooping at night. We are central to many tourist attractions and only 27 km from Hoedspruit.

A safari vehicle is parked at the entrance gate to the lodge, marked by a stone archway with the lodge's name. The gate features a simple animal motif, surrounded by native vegetation and an expansive blue sky.

Amazing place. Ahh. In the middle of nature, amazing hosts, kept seeing giraffes, safe feeling and such a wonderful place! We sat around the fire every evening listening to the nature and my husband playing guitar. Our souls really rested. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bed is comfy. Had a swim in the river in the morning and then a hot shower on an outdoorsy feeling bathroom- is there anything better than that. Also: hosts are amazing. We had such fun conversation and the feeling is very homie. The road is gravel road but easy to drive even with a low car. Can't wait to come here again for a longer time! Also, the welcoming committee, named Maxie (the little dog) is the best welcoming ever.

A Hidden Gem Near Lisbon Falls! A nicer host, you shall not find—Charl was absolutely fantastic, and his two lovely dogs, Eva and Bella, made the stay even more special. The lodge is set in such a stunning location—just a short stroll to Lisbon Falls and a perfect drive away from all the iconic viewpoints. The accommodation was cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. It was truly the best holiday. We’ll definitely be back, and we couldn't recommend this spot more. 10/10 experience!

We stayed over at Silke's place for 2 nights. The check-in was a breeze which really helped after a very long day of traveling. The house was clean and our experience overall was lovely. Would highly recommend Silke's place to anyone traveling to the Kruger.

We rwally enjoyed our stay at the Salt Cave Eco Hut. Loved the quirky, arty design and had a lot of fun exploring all the little details of the hut and enjoying walks on the farm. The hot tub was great and we even tried out the pizza oven :) Melissa is a wonderful communicator and really went out of her way to make our stay comfortable.

A modern villa entrance is framed by natural landscaping, featuring a stone pathway leading to large glass doors. The exterior walls are a soft gray, with potted plants accentuating each side of the entrance. Ground cover consists of reddish-brown mulch, enhancing the natural ambiance.

I was worried that the house wouldn’t look as nice as it did in the pictures, but wow, it was even better in person. It is a stunning place. Open plan and beautiful, it brought the outside in. It was peaceful and animals happily wandered past. The stars at night were just insane!! It’s in a really great spot, but also close to amenities. Will definitely be back!!
