The former Sanjo family has prospered in the shipping, silk, and sake industries in Miyazu Castle since the Edo period. It was also the residence of the Edo shogunate patrol officer, and in the Meiji period, it was the residence of Prince Arisugawa Takahito and Prince Komatsu Takahito, and is now designated as an important cultural property by the country. We have rebuilt the annex as an inn, "Miyanaka Kanbei Honten". The name of the house is the same as the sake brewery at the time. The owner carefully selected high-quality flooring and tiles while maintaining the atmosphere of that time, and placed selected sofas, tables, and bar counters in the living room on the ground floor. We have created a space for you to relax and unwind. Please spend your time in a high-quality space while feeling the history and seasonal changes of Miyazu, a port town that has fascinated many people since ancient times. Guests staying at the property will receive a free ticket to the former residence of the Mikami family! You can use it on either your check-in or check-out date. We hope you enjoy the Edo atmosphere. Kakayama Hut is a facility with a restaurant and accommodation space. Kakayama Hutte is a three-story bungalow-style facility. The first floor has parking and a bathroom. The second floor is a restaurant called Kakayama Diner. The 3rd floor has 2 bedrooms. The 1st and 2nd floors are shared spaces for guests. * Kakayama Diner on the 2nd floor is open irregularly. Basically, the restaurant is not open when there are guests staying. You can bring in ingredients and cook in the kitchen. It is fully equipped with kitchen utensils. Please bring your own condiments. You can also have a barbecue in the yard. (extra charge) The pool with spring water is the best. (summer) 18 minutes by car from Hachikita Ski Resort. Barbecues, fireworks, and fires are allowed in the large yard. A famous water source called Eiko-no-Shimizu wells up right in front of the facility. It is very delicious water that even people from the city come to draw. It is a very quiet rural town with abundant nature. It's the perfect place to spend some quality time and relax quietly. Mt. Sobu, one of the 50 mountains in Hyogo Prefecture, is also nearby, so please use the mountain hut. (20-minute drive to the Mt. Sobu trailhead)

This is a private farmhouse, so you can easily stay with family and friends. A property that had been vacant for about 3 years in the "Kami-Miyazu" area, which boasts countryside scenery and is about a 10-minute drive from the center of Miyazu, was renovated into a private rental accommodation. It is 10 minutes to the sea, 15 minutes to Amanohashidate, and 45 minutes to Ine no Funaya. It is not a particularly beautiful facility, but you can spend a relaxing time unique to the area. Basically, we don't serve food, but if you'd like, you can book a breakfast onigiri set at the nearby onigiri cafe, which is limited to our facility (for a fee) We can also introduce you to local people, BBQ, harvesting experiences, e-bike tours in the area, and more. Please check with me in advanced. BBQ is also available for rent as a set for ¥2,200. (Chairs, stove, charcoal, lighter, from preparation to cleaning up) Food is not included. Please bring your own. We do not allow BBQs outside of rentals. In the garage, in addition to BBQ, you can do bicycle and motorcycle maintenance without getting wet from the rain. You can store it in a locked building, so you can travel around Tango with peace of mind. Parking is available right behind the facility.

I haven’t been to an such amazing place in a long time. Kazumasa and Hiroko are one of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. The location is breathtaking which invited you to stay more than just a few days. I only stayed 2 nights and wished I had more time. Hiroko gave me some really nice recommendations where I should go and what to do. The breakfast was also super delicious and plenty. Mabulin the dog will welcome you with his playfulness and cheeky character. If I happen to be back in this area I definitely will stay with them again. Thank you

I stayed for an event in Iwami Town! On the day of arrival, they picked me up at Iwami Station, and I was able to arrive at the inn immediately. The kind and playful Makiko is friendly and hospitable, and the time we spent together was very intense and relaxing. For meals, we had a welcome dessert, tempura, and a breakfast bagel (500 yen).Most of the food was homemade by Makiko, and everything was really delicious!!! The bath was for three girls, and they prepared a butterfly pea bath, which was very relaxing. The room was so spacious (number of rooms) that it was a waste for 3 people to stay.All the rooms were well maintained and pleasant to stay in. I was able to have a special experience of slow life in nature that I can't do in my usual daily life.This time, the stay was short, so there are many other things I want to do at this private home.Next time I visit, I would like to bring a lot of friends and take a lot of time! Thank yal soo much this time!!
